Very interesting plane graveyard. Right now there is a large queue of 747s awaiting the scrappy's attention. Free parking in lay by about half a mile out from Kemble village. Rather dodgy walk to get a better view alongside a busy road with no pavement. So for those who, like me, fancy a look at these fascinating hulks of the air, a word of caution. This is a working facility, not a tourist site. Please avoid bringing your kids - especially if they are young. The adjacent road has no constructed pavement, the verge gets slippery in winter and the road is used by fast traffic. There's a substantial walk from where you can park and you cannot stop on the road.

Great place to get close to some old motor birds! Amazing to see them so close, just wish you could get the other side of the fence…
