We've been having regular skips from Allied for a few years now. They always have availabilty and have always delivered to us super quick. I highly recommend them, and have never had any concerns about their excellent, helpful and friendly customer service! We won't use anyone else!

Extremely poor customer service. Got very angry that our neighbours happened to be moving in the same day they came to pick up the skip, as if it was our fault a removal van was blocking the road.

There were a number of other issues too, including almost being sworn at by the man on the phone. I wouldn’t touch this company again if you paid me!

The Retro Future

I needed to rent a skip. The process was simple and the delivery was prompt. When they came to collect the skip I had overfilled it which I didn’t know would be an issue. Instead of knocking on the door and making me aware they drove off and put a block on the skip and refused to collect it until a £100 wasted journey fee was paid.

It took me less than 10 minutes to remove the over filled items and had I just been made aware that the driver was on his way/outside I could of popped out and remedied the issue immediately and happily paid £20 for the time spent waiting.

I felt it was very poorly handled and despite offering a reduced £50 for the wasted journey they absolutely refused and demanded the full £100.

Unless they make this clearer I would look elsewhere and avoid the drama. It’s not worth it.

I had metal scalpers knocking on my door for days asking to go through and take the metal. All whilst I didn’t even know when the skip was going to be collected because they never told me they had attempted a delivery and blocked the collection.

Let down by their communication and unfairness.

This is the second skip we’ve had from Allied Waste, and yet again a fantastic service! I live quite a distance from my elderly parents who had the skip, and it was easy to arrange delivery & collection and I was told the driver was friendly and very helpful. Would certainly recommend!

Ordered a skip which was delivered the following morning at 7am.
then just phone about 1 hour ago asking if they could collect it - they literally just left! it's amazing! 100% recommend!
also the staff are extremely friendly and helpful!

Excellent service... from the phone call I received in response to the request I posted on ‘skiphirenearme’, to the delivery and collection of skip by the very friendly Richard – now there’s a guy who really appears to be enjoying his job ? Thank you very much - would definitely use again.
