THE best antique shop I’ve ever been to! There are so many gems in Ampthill Antiques Emporium, you can easily spend several hours in here and it doesn’t even feel like any time has passed because you’re just so engrossed looking at everything. Also, everything is also really reasonably priced, you can get so many bargains! Mark and Jake are super helpful too!
So glad we’ve found this place, it’s become one of our favourite finds and somewhere we’re excited to frequently visit. My partner and I have picked up so many beautiful unique items over the last couple of weeks, as we are in the process of furnishing our first home!

This is a great independent antique shop stuffed full of interesting/unique bits. The stock is very reasonably priced and changes regularly.

Staff are friendly and helpful and will happily do deals when buying multiple items etc.

Well worth a visit if you are in the local area.

A huge emporium jam packed full of interesting & curious finds. I stumbled across exactly what I was looking for on Saturday after a chance look around. I bought a vintage dresser and cabinet for our TV. I spoke to Jamie (Shop Manager) who was super helpful & went out his way to arrange delivery the following evening. I paid via bank transfer, which was acknowledged straight away. Jamie & Jake arrived on Sunday evening in a super clean van, our items were carefully protected to make sure of no damage in transit. They assembled the dresser that was transported in 2 parts & offered to help with TV assembly too. I was very impressed with how professional the service was from start to finish - thank you Jamie! I mentioned I was on the look out for a Chesterfield sofa & was delighted when Jamie said he would speak to his dealers and see if he could source my requirements. Highly recommend a visit - you will find something unusual you didn't even know you needed.

Great store packed to the brim.
Suoer walks in and around Ampthill particularly the Great Park where Catherine of Aragon was kept in the Castle there whilst awaiting the annulment of her marriage to Henry VIII.

Had a long drive to visit this antique shop today and it was definitely not worth it. The entire shop was packed which is great but you can hardly move around to see anything of interest and was spoken to in a very hostile manner with some very inappropriate language by a young man working in the shop which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and very unwelcome definitely won’t be returning.

Very cluttered shop, and after moving several items to find a book buried beneath other items that was unpriced when enquiring about a price was swore at by member of staff and very rude and degrading demeanour when purchasing item. Will not be returning and don’t recommend anyone travelling the distance that I travelled.

Always love visiting The Emporium in Ampthill. This recent visit was for my daughter birthday...her request! We spent 1.5hrs browsing and loved the bits we came away with. Didn't have enough budget for the pan set but will grab it if its still there next time! Cash only so make sure you come prepared. Plenty of FREE parking in the Waitrose Car park (2hrs or 3hrs if you can get a space in the church street entrance car park). There is even a cafe now but we've not visited that yet. Friendly staff and so many treasures hidden away.
