Trish was very helpful when I phoned and enquired about fire back plates and grates. She directed me to the website, so I could see stock, and so we did not have a wasted journey. We went and had a look; she showed us several, offered us advice and we chose one. I'm pleased to say it fitted really well in our fireplace. We went straight home and lit our first fire. Cosy!

In the middle of nowhere on a farm site in this wonderful collection of stuff. We need some doors for our old house and they had them. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. The a really busy and can come across a bit stressed. But if your building stuff and need things that are authentic this is the place to go!

Went to Arc yesterday looking for some old oak beams. Julian the owner was so helpful and knew just about every single piece of wood and it's background! Helped us not only find what we wanted but also gave us a few free cuts and tips on how to prep the wood.
If you are at all nervous about visiting a reclamation yard go here first !
