I cannot thank Ian enough for being an absolute lifesaver! As a young female stranded late at night on the side of the road after running out of petrol, far from home, I was genuinely terrified. I had called several other recovery companies, but no one could help me. Then I found Ian, and everything changed for the better.

Fantastic service from Ian today. Broke down with a flat battery. Confirmed he'd be with me within the hour, and rang ahead when he was 10 minutes away. Fixed in no time and gave some valuable advice on replacement batteries, how to fit and checked to see if the alternator was sound. He even offered advice on the best breakdown cover to get. Lovely guy, very reasonably priced and I would highly recommend.

My Van broke down, and I had to get recovered, I found A-V-R Breakdown Recovery, after a quick online search, I spoke to Ian who was very friendly and knowledgeable and also help me diagnose the problem with my van due to his vast experience within the automotive trade. Ian came out very quickly and towed me to a local garage that he had suggested, the whole process was easy and stress free.

Outstanding service from AVR Breakdown last night.
I was stranded in Hurst Green, Ian was happy to come out, diagnose a flat battery, jump start the car and get me going.
He was also happy spending time coming for a drive with me in the car to check out what I thought was an ongoing problem and reassure me. I have never spoken with anyone who has so much knowledge of the car sector.
I would highly recommend AVR, I'd give ten stars if I was able!!

Cannot praise Ian enough, broke down on the M23 South, just off of Junction 9 on my way to Gatwick to catch a flight.

After a quick phone call he’s set up and on his way to my location, dropped off and all set, checked in on time. I was in a bit of a state and if it wasn’t for Ian I might still have been there freezing on the side of the road. Just glad that people like him exist

Phoned AVR for a recovery service after my car wouldn’t start at a car wash but ended up being walked through what the issue was and how to fix it. Car started straight away and no need for a recovery. He insisted he didn’t want and form of payment or even a drink for Christmas. An absolute gent and I couldn’t recommend him enough. I will definitely keep them in mind for the future. Top man 👍

Found myself with a flat and no spare and barely any signal. Called AVR thinking they were near. They weren’t. Despite not actually being able to come to my aid, Ian took the time to give me some sound advice and helped me find a good mobile tyre service to help me out rather than getting recovered, as I needed my car for work first thing. Something I didn’t even think of. Told me rough prices I should expect which stopped me from getting ripped off by one company I phoned on a whim. Even offered to come out and help me if I had no luck in the end! Very very helpful!
