Such a shame because it’s a lovely place but certain staff feel the need to get involved and shout about how people parent? Highly inappropriate and won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Inconvenient to be closed 2 days of the week.

Given the miss management and lack planning of aylesburys road network by the council and the constant traffic because of it...getting to and from Aston clinton site from rabans lane side of town can and often is a real task.

This is a tax payer funded service. We should have access to it throughout the week.

I see no reason to close two days a week other than the council cost cutting via wages.

Have a few less councillors brunches a month and maybe you can pay your staff to keep public services open as they should be.

On this particular visit I was asked for my ID which I don't have a problem with if everyone is treated the same..... it was clear that they were only checking ID'S of people of colour. The person in front didn't get asked neither did the man behind me and on the way out they only stopped another person of colour. Can we make it fair please. You either need ID or you don't🤬

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the recent experience I had at the Aylesbury Recycling Centre. Upon my visit, I was informed that there would be charges for disposing of some old bricks, wood, and other materials. Despite my objection to these charges, I reluctantly paid £21 for the disposal of my waste.

My primary concern is not merely the imposition of charges but the potential consequences that such charges may have on the community and the environment. It is evident that individuals who are unable to afford these charges may resort to fly-tipping as an alternative, which poses significant risks and challenges.

Fly-tipping not only results in environmental degradation but also poses threats to public health and safety. Individuals who choose not to pay the charges may opt for illegal methods of waste disposal, such as dumping rubbish in gardens, pouring old oil into sewers, or even resorting to burning waste, all of which have detrimental effects on our surroundings.

I understand the need for managing waste effectively and the associated costs involved. However, it is essential to consider the broader implications of imposing charges at recycling centers. These charges may inadvertently incentivize behaviors that are harmful to our community and environment, thereby undermining the objectives of waste management and recycling efforts.

Furthermore, it is concerning to observe what appears to be a double financial benefit for the council—charging citizens for waste disposal while also profiting from selling materials to recycling manufacturers. I believe this raises questions about transparency and fairness in the management of public resources.

Moreover, I would like to emphasize that as taxpayers, we contribute to the funding of waste management services through our council taxes, regardless of whether waste is collected from our front doors or brought to recycling centers. Therefore, it is reasonable to expect a level of service that is accessible and equitable for all members of the community.

I urge you to review the policies regarding charges at the Aylesbury Recycling Centre and explore alternative solutions that promote responsible waste disposal without imposing financial burdens on individuals. It is crucial to strike a balance between the sustainability of waste management practices and ensuring accessibility for all members of the community.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will take appropriate action to address these concerns and improve the waste management policies at the Aylesbury Recycling Centre.

First time here and they were absolutely brilliant. Webcam is great to see how busy it is. The chap on the gate was friendly and smiley. Sarah was outstanding at helping us organise all of our various waste. Genuinely a smooth operation and great, great staff who take pride in their valuable work.
