My wife's bike wouldn't start when we were out for a spin. After a quick call, they turned up within about 10 mins, and started it with an external battery charger. As it's suspected to be the alternator causing the issue, he followed us home to central Edinburgh just in case the bike stalled again and we were stuck. In my opinion, service above and beyond, for a very reasonable fee. Would defo use again.

I wanted to share my experience of David and Baileyfield Garage. I would thoroughly recommend them. I had a complex, multi-stop relocation / removal of precision heavy machine tools. After a few discussions with David, we came up with a solid plan. David was very patient and understanding of the issues associated with a move like this. I felt like my property was in good hands. He expertly manoeuvred the items safely and without incident. Many other garages would have turned away or given up, but David came up with solutions to get the job done. He stayed late to complete the job. He even helped me manually lift and crowbar the machines into position (something that no other provider would help with). I am very grateful for his services, and I would not have been able to get the move done without him. Always pleasant and accomodating. Would 100% recommend.

Visiting Edinburgh from Manchester just a day before Easter holidays, car broke down (drive shaft came off) on Portobello Rd.
Guy named DAVID (i believe the Owner) came from this garage and he was just awesome. So friendly and caring. He couldnt have helped us more.

He towed the car, and said he will give a call next morning with a quote and if he can get the car repaired or not (depending if he has the parts available).
Not only he called us with a quote, repaired the car same day by afternoon (as he knew we have to leave for Aberdeen same day). He really saved the trip for us.

Amazing service - my car broke down in a car park in Edinburgh. David was so patient and my car was up and running again after a quick fix. Such a friendly, helpful guy, cannot recommend Baileyfield enough!

Had to have my car towed via breakdown assist. Excellent communication and service from these guys. There was a delay in the arrival (an accident on the motorway that had priority) and the driver called me and kept me updated. He was efficient and quick in the recovery and was very helpful. Definitely recommend these guys.

So grateful for the help I got from Baileyfield Garage today. Plate underneath car fell down when in town so I couldn’t drive. I had both my toddler and my dog in the car so was pretty stressed. They were helpful as always and got to me quickly to make sure I could get home safely. Will continue to use their services in the future (although hopefully I don’t break down again anytime soon!). This is the quickest I've ever gone online to leave a review. Fantastic company. Great service.
My car had a flat battery, as I've been unable to drive for 10 weeks due to a back injury. They were here in about 20 minutes. The employee who came out was fantastic! He even stayed for an extra 30 minutes to wait with my car while the battery charged, as I was unable to take my car for the usual recommended immediate drive due to my injury.
So grateful. Would highly recommend.
