Had my car recovered from these guys , no problem at all recovering really fast and efficient, took to their yard on a Saturday. Driver all good however Fast forward to 6 weeks later and my car returned from coparts to me with no ignition barrel visible and car had to be wrenched off with no way of moving the car as hand brakes locked and left half way in the road at 8am in the morning . Coparts said the car arrived to them like this we said how is this possible as the car was driven on the recovery truck by bakers , he proceeded to dump the car in the road instructed by coparts so I call up bakers and they said they have to look into this blah blah not apologetic at all and the manager couldn’t seem to grasp the concept that the barrel was damaged or taken in their care as i went 2 days after the accident to the yard and took pictures of the car when it was in the yard and we kept going back and forth very unhelpful and not really understanding. In the evening I had someone look at the car and the ignition barrel was jammed at the back of the steering wheel which was clearly done either upon unloading from the truck as my photos showed it wasn’t there on Monday when it was in their yard but they don’t wanna apologise for the inconvenience caused because of this instead the manager wanted me to call them so he could give me a sarcastic attitude on the phone to make me apologise to him because I accused him of taking the barrel when you clearly knew that someone in the yard damaged it mistakenly if it arrived in their yard being driven on and couldn’t leave the yard being driven off and didn’t want to admit liability, accidents happen and if he had admitted yeah unfortunately when we took out the key the barrel slipped behind we would of been completely fine with it as we would have known how to deal with it but because he was so unconcerned for my car and didn’t seem to care about the situation I was left in with a car stuck in the middle of the road with no way of moving the car he will get a bad review from me instead and no apology but the girls are so helpful and lovely there no issue with them when I visited.

We broke down in our classic car on the M3 Sunday and only waited 45mins for Jason to come he was very efficient and professional and got us home safely everything from Brittania and Bakers done very smoothly and we are very pleased with the service.

I can't recommend this place higher. I've never seen such kindness in our hour of need. The manager stayed open so we could collect our luggage from our wrecked vehicle and let us wait in the warm office till our transport arrived to take us on our last journey home. I think he stayed for about 2 hours past his closing time. I didn't catch his name sadly but he's a Saint. I hope he sees this so he knows how grateful we are. He saved our lives bless his heart ❤️ x

I cannot praise this family run business enough. They came to the rescue when my vehicle was off the road. They recovered me from my home address within a short time of calling them. They kept me informed of the problems with my car whilst it was being repair. Never easy knowing how bad things are but they went the extra mile. I can only describe the company, staff and the service as.

Professional, Polite, Honest and a real cariing attitude that comes with a family run business. Second to none.
