Quite rude for some reason when asking a question. The reason we was there because the refuse collection with the blue and white bags were forgotten once again. We don't make a point of going there for a day out nor to be spoken in such a way.

Extremely rude and disgusting staff. They were not helpful at all, the place of the recycling centre was shambolic and completely disorganised. A particular staff member was extremely rude when I asked him for help.

It is one of the easier sites to visit as rarely too busy and the staff are not as up their own backsides as most tip workers - but there is still a lot of stuff you cannot get rid of here.

If you are throwing out some basic metal and wood, oil for example then it is fine. To be fair, the website or council site will tell you what they accept - is just I personally do not get why these centres cannot be developed to accept most if not all things we often want out. (Paint, soil and plastic...none of which they accept here)

Very friendly helpful staff was very patient with all my question concerning where to put my recycling plus what i could and could not recycle so was able to unload car in a timely manner and made my mummy very happy plus only came home with a few things to go in next black bag collection. So very good experience

Sometimes the people who work here can be a little blunt, or seem a little rude. Great for recycling garden waste as you dump it on the ground, no stairs to climb. No queues either unlike other council tips.

No facilities to handle materials such as expanded polystyrene or bubble wrap, so common packaging that contains mixed materials require two trips. Other sites are more practical and realistic. This site has been mostly empty when we have visited. Most choose Woodham Ferrers or Pitsea.
