Is it just me reading wrong or they just decided to finish earlier (6:15pm). Very unfriendly staff and lots of unexpected shuts without notice....

This place is a joke.
Sent a 70 year old man to the wrong bin and then came over with attitude to tell us it’s the wrong bin and we gotta walk a heavy king size mattress round from 23 to 13.
Would not accept metal of any kind and when asked if they were joking because there’s a bin for it ! And it’s a tip !!! Was hurled abuse at by the arrogant men working at 9am this morning.

Never experienced anything like it.

These tip ‘men’ hate their job and hate the public.
Unnecessary attitude towards the public. Not the right workers for the place. Period.

Very well organised and easy to access. Its not always clear what goes where and sometimes the staff aren't about or aren't as helpful as they might be.
Due to the one way system you may néed to go round more than once.

Ad far as household waste and recycling centres go this one has always been good for me.
Never had a problem with the site or staff and have used it frequently since moving to the area and renovating my house.

To everyone blaming Hinckley Council for the poor way this site is run note it's a LEICS COUNTY COUNCIL run site. Complain to them if you didn't like the service or the way you were treated by staff.

I never feel comfortable visiting the tip they watch you like hawks and make you feel like you should not be going there. The places to tip your stuff are not clear enough. They also do not recycle plastic. To be honest I hate going here. Also the place is too small. And what is the point of a tip when you cannot take certain things. And we pay rip off council tax but then they want extra money to tip Rubble. There has been some improvement of late.

Very aggressive staff member. Telling us off, rather than telling us we had gone to the wrong bin. Staff here need to learn about customer service. Council need to get a grip as we are paying their wages. Unbelievable.
