Located close to Boots site in Beeston this HWRC is on Lilac Grove. Open til 8pm most days during the summer months this centre offers most recycling facilities including metals, small to mid sized furniture and electrical appliances, cardboard, garden waste, household items, old clothes, waste oils and bed-ware. Staff are helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking spaces to offload your waste items so even if it’s full you don’t have too wait too long for a space to become available.

Absolutely baffled by the low and inconsistent reviews here. 'Staff don't recycle, staff check to many bags to ensure items aren't being put in wrong bins'
I have been quite a few times now and I can not fault the staff one bit, always friendly and always helpful. I would highly recommend using this centre.

I really love this place, it feels like home. It reminds me of how recycling centres used to be run back in the day. No messing around from the employees & very efficient. The lads are so sound there. There’s a young blonde girl there too, she’s class - works super hard ! Thank you !

Been today at 18.30 and 2arrogant blokes sitting looking at their phones said I couldn’t unload my cardboard as the bins were full .They have a machine that they can use to compact everything down but they would sooner look at there phones supposedly open until 8 o’clock at night yet they had closed all the bays off typical council workers being idle

Easy to access, just don't expect any help from the workers. They will happily stand around on their phones while you struggle on your own. 3 times I've been lol and not seen them help a soul other than moan ?

Can't believe Nottinghamshire County Council is considering closing Beeston Recycling Centre. Closing the centre would surely increase incidents of fly tipping and rubbish dumping. Keep Beeston Recycling Centre open!

They are SO helpful here, they deserve every penny they get.... They keep everything tip- top.... No refuse, where it shouldn't be...... All clearly demarcated, parking bays, and clearly marked on skips, what goes where.... If you have a heavy item , they will gladly help. All you have to do is ASK. And they have "tightened up who comes here too" - as people from other parts of Nottingham, miles away were coming here to dump their crap off!!. Well, that won't work now - because you have to register your cars. So, now, they know if you don't live in the Beeston area....!!! Lol....!!! Top marks....
