Friendly & knowledgeable owners with clean, well serviced & powerful mountain e bikes. I'd really recommend the service, & ebikes are so much fun. We all felt like we had adopted a magic power & LOVED the exhilaration of accelerating up hills & covering a large area of outstanding beauty. We cycled pretty hard & felt exhausted at the end of the day, which was important to us too.

We went on the 2 lake, 4 hr loop, & came back to drop a friend who'd had enough & reprogrammed the Garmin (£5 extra , 1 per group, worth getting for easy peasy navigation) for the 1 lake loop for another 1.5 hrs. These loops each involved approx 30 mins of drink/snack/view stops.

The tracks are generally wide & very quiet. The laminated maps (optional) do show the narrow, more challenging cycle routes, which we were too nervous to try in case the heavy bikes were too unwieldy to navigate given our inexperience.

I can’t thank Beics Betws enough for their kindness. I didn’t actually hire a bicycle, but when my friend had an accident nearby on his motorcycle, the team at Beics Betws went above and beyond to help us out. They selflessly lent me some tools, which allowed me to get the bike repaired enough to be safely rideable again. It was an act of genuine generosity that really saved the day. If this is how they treat people who aren’t even customers, I can only imagine the fantastic service they give to those hiring bikes. Truly top-class people – highly recommended!

Hired 5 electric MBTs owners Louise and Graham very helpful and provided route ideas a map and Garmin that ensured our days cycling was enjoyable. Good quality bikes at a great hire price. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to hire a bike from. 100% use again. We hired two E-MTBs for the full day. They were well maintained, in good condition, clean and very easy to ride. They ensured the tyres were pumped and chain lubed before we set off. We had tool kit/tubes given to us if we had a puncture. We did their suggested 37km loop up to Llyn Geirionydd, then to Llyn Crafnant and finally over to Llyn Elsi. Really friendly, nice and easy to hire from. We hired on a Friday, and just dropped in at 10:30am without a prebooking and they had availability. Weekends might be busier. Absolutely beautiful views, cracking ride, well worth it! The E-MTBs were well worth the extra money to enable you to go that much further and smash it up those steep climbs. Will be back and will recommend to anyone in the area looking for bike hire.

5 star service. Graham has been absolutely fantastic in helping to resolve a technical problem with my bike's Bosch system. Knowledgeable, patient and gone the extra mile (sorry !!) in fitting me in between dealing with bookings / customers. Stuck at it at resolved the issue. Cannot fault the service provided.

Loved this, the owner is lovely and the bikes are a really high quality. We did the 16k route on the normal mountain bikes, a beautiful route with a very fun downhill at the end. Worth getting the satnav for ease. Cannot recommend enough!
