Only a few stalls here on my last visit, which was a shame. There are still some very interesting items to be discovered here though. Militaria, coins, silver and loads of odds and sods. It's still worth a visit here.

Good finds and kind people.
Some are overpriced, but people are willing to negotiate and explain about the items.
Honest opening times are probably 8am-1.30pm.
Reccomend if you have an hour to spare on a Friday!

One of the nicer antiques shopping experiences I've had in London. A nice selection of wares at good prices in a quaint little square, perfect detour for a sunny Friday’s morning walk. The market also have some of the nicest vendors Ive met in recent weeks too. Would definitely recommend!

How lucky am I to have this incredibly special antiques market close by. It has decreased in size since Bermondsey regenerated but remains a market that professionals in the trade visit, some really high quality stuff there. The traders are so lovely, knowledgeable and happy to share all they know. And yes, every time I visit I find myself buying something. If you haven’t been, go discover !

The outdoor vendors were very friendly, but the ladies selling jewelry indoors seemed to hate their jobs? When I asked a long curly-haired lady (her stall was full of antique jewelry in boxes) to look at a turquoise ring, she was obviously unwilling to show it to me (in fact, she didn't show it to me). She said in a very arrogant and rude tone that it was a ring worth more than a thousand pounds, and then reluctantly introduced its material. It was an incredible experience. I hope she can happily keep her treasure forever and ever

Its actually not bad, though I feel like it used to be better. Definitely some hidden treasures to be found, be it a gift or just looking for something nice to add to your collection of whatever you collect.
I'd be careful about buying watches from there though. It's always a gamble could be fake could be genuine.
The merchants are all quite friendly and honest, well, most of them lol.

So many stalls selling lots of different items. Great if you’re looking for something interesting or unusual.
