The depot changed days of collection without informing us. The 1st we knew of it was a missed collection email. We used the app to request an extra collection later in the week. They then changed the collection day to a week later which fell on our normal collection day, meaning we had no collection all week over Christmas. Then they billed us for the missed collection.
The drivers are great but whoever is in charge of the depot needs a kick up the backside

NEVER SIGN A BIFFA CONTRACT. Very difficult to get out of, if it feels like a scam, it probably is. Prices go up and there's nothing you can do about it. I'm out of my contract in 4 months time, after which I will save more than 50% on my refuse costs. Awful company with dubious practices and managers that really couldn't care less. How can they possibly get away with stuff like this in 2023?

None collection of food waste for a month. Nothing but excuses, first the bin wasn’t out (it was exactly where it should be), then the trucks were out of service, now the food waste is contaminated and needs to be general waste and collection next week. All our food waste is bagged in approved bio-degradable bags we’ve been using for nearly a year and never had a problem. I wonder what their next excuse will be…. Meanwhile we’re paying for a service and not receiving it…. This is one of many problems we’ve had with Biffa!! Be warned if you’re considering which refuse company to use!!

Always late and when u ring up to ask why bin hasnt been emptied they say bin is blocked by traffic and tell me thats my fault and i need to pay for an extra collection,traffic is not my fault!,always up the price every month and add on extra weight price when the bin is no fuller than last month,cost way too much,always late,a complete rip off company,saying i cant cancel,why should i waste my money on a service im not getting Would always tell anyone to never use biffa coz u will regret giving this company ur money!!!!!

After being a Biffa customer for 10 years, we gave 3 month's notice that we wished to cancel as the costs had more than doubled since the contract was signed.

Biffa's idea of a rolling contract is that you must give 3 month's notice prior to the date that the contract was originally signed, otherwise "damages" apply for leaving the contract early. This amounted to over £300 and quite frankly we feel scammed.

My advice would be to read the small print extremely carefully before signing up!

Driver left bin in road yesterday blocking the road 15 yards away from the collection
point and couldn't be bothered to put it back after emptying elderly gentleman had to move bin fell over and was sent to hospital with head injury rang biffa was going to ring back nothing a total disgusting service and no regard to the general public

The worst customer service by far of all companies I use. Wait 30mins each time just to book a collection. What is even more annoying is the messaging that keeps telling me to book online when this service is unavailable.
