James visited our house to give us a very competitive removals quote, taking into consideration all our belongings and fragile items. He was helpful and gave us very sound advice with the moving process.
On moving day, the team were so kind & worked very efficiently. Every single item was wrapped carefully & protected, not a single item was damaged - see photos!

Moving is often described as one of the most stressful experiences in life, but thanks to Big Tuna Removals, our moving day was anything but stressful. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, professional, and surprisingly enjoyable.

I can't recommend Big Tuna Removals enough! I needed a single large item (a very complex and heavy weaving loom!) moved from a town near Plymouth all the way to my flat in London. The team are so friendly and they dismantled and packed the loom with great care, and then reassembled it for me when they arrived.

There was frequent communication throughout the whole process and they were very flexible, and I was even able to track their location when they were en route. I am super grateful for all their help, and strongly recommend Big Tuna if you need a fantastic moving company!

Having moved some 18 times plus our recent move from Plymouth to Somerset was a biggie for us as we want this to be our final move.
Being too old to self move we looked for a Moving Company that was efficient, keen on price , trustworthy and had tidy vehicles along with presentable staff.
Didn't want our new neighbours to see us arriving in a dirty scruffy vehicle with a couple of likely lads who were mates of mates and could do the job like a Chinese wrist watch, cheap cheap with no care or service offered.
Having reviewed on line Removals for Plymouth we selected 2 Moving Companies to price our move. Both appeared good but from the initial meeting and communication with James at Big Tuna my Wife and I were confident in his Company being able to deliver what we wanted. They were more expensive but still imho very fair value for the money given the excellent service provided throughout.
In the weeks following our quote meeting as we were firming up our completion date James and Kimmie kept in touch.
Finally on our actual Removals date as confirmed an immaculate signed truck arrived bang on time as with James in attendance to help Mike and the rest of the team with loading and packing.
The banter and inter action from the crew including the young lady who was as good as any bloke in her work (sorry didn't ask her Name) was great and all seemed genuinely happy in their work.
Efficient, careful and everything we'd hoped for, for our move.
A few hours later and off to Somerset where the contents were off loaded with the same care and placed in our chosen rooms, we also used Big Tunas diassembly and reassembly for tables, beds etc, we'd recommend this as an add on. Saves time and effort.
We could go on but the experience of our Removal with Big Tuna was brilliant.
Great people who deliver and exceeded our expectations.

We recently used Big Tuna Removals for our house move, and they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The team arrived on time, were friendly, professional, and handled everything with great care and efficiency. They made what could have been a stressful day completely smooth and stress-free!
Nothing was too much trouble for these guys and they worked quickly but carefully, ensuring all our furniture and boxes were safely packed and unloaded. What an incredible bunch of guys. Made the day feel so much more fun and took away so much stress! They were quick and efficient and really took care of the property we were moving into using special floor covers and sticky stair tape leaving the house still clean and tidy even after a move.
