Could not speak highly enough of these guys. Real down to earth guys, extremely competent and technically knowledgeable and priced very fairly. I was looked after by a chap called Sandy, and after a 2,000km+ ride over all kinds of terrain, somehow my bike feels brand new again. Thanks alot!

I recently purchased a bike from Bike for Good and it is perfect. I am enjoying the led rides on Wednesday afternoons. The leaders are knowledgeable, experienced and attentive, even to the extent of noticing I was struggling against blustery weather and shielding me from the gusts. Very kind.

The guided rides have shown me parts of Glasgow I have never seen before and I can now access beautiful places safely. When I bought the bike I thought I would maybe use it a few times a week but I am now cycling most days after being shown where to find safe cycle routes.

I purchased a used bike at this place recently. The lads there were so fine in guiding me pick my first bike & they’re pretty knowledgeable as well. Although you can get a pretty good deal elsewhere for an used bike, you could always rely on the refurbishment this gents do coz they’re really good at it & will set you up in no time! Cheers.

On my visit today, the mechanic first of all interrupted the service I was getting from another colleague, to make me wait for him while he was still tending to another client, super odd, then he proceeds to being rude and condescending, refusing to being helpful or answering basic inquiries, told me brutally to look for the piece I needed in pile of spare pieces, even though I explain i couldn't identify correctly which piece would fit my bike, also upon asking him what else he thinks would need fixing on the bike, he just keep saying the whole bike looks like a mess, instead of being helpful.

I could sense he wasn’t keen to help so just decided to leave and thats when his tone escalated even more.
Really bad, recommend, never will be back.

Great experience with Bike for Good.
I'm currently doing the Young Mechanics course and also taking part in the cycling lessons. The staff are friendly, supportive, and always ready to help. Great experience with team at Bikes4Good South. Team are friendly and easy going, great atmosphere in the place. When bringing the bike in for servicing they gave me a thorough rundown on how different parts work together and how they get worn down, which was great for my own understanding. The service itself was quick and the bike is a breeze to use now, and they were very clear on what it might cost and why (e.g. ordering parts if not in-house). For what I got done for the bike I was happy to pay what I did for servicing and repairs, they did a cracking job. Highly recommend them for repairs, servicing and advice on managing your bike.

Had an amazing lesson with Derek. Within an hour , I was confident on the bike and it felt like I could get on my bike again. Conversations along the way , supported the idea of biking for leisure and family. I'll be back.

I went in earlier today to have my freewheel changed and the guy literally did it within 5 minutes. They had the part in stock and the pricing was very reasonable. Always had good experiences with this place. So happy!
