Bluebell is mine and my nans new happy place. After months or turmoil and being worked up for my nans best interest, we found Bluebell.
From the moment we walked through the doors, I knew that my nan was in the right place.
It is not a “care home” it’s a safe space filled full of warmth, kindness, and compassion.
The staff go above and beyond every single day, treating Nan not just as a resident, but as part of their extended family. It’s incredibly reassuring to see the level of care and genuine affection they show her.

My mother has been in Bluebell for 5 months now. She was very resistant to going into a care home but when we lost my father, just before Christmas, she could no longer cope at home alone. She was also feeling very lonely. However, after only a couple of weeks, she stopped asking when she was going home and she is very contented in Bluebell now. The staff are caring, capable and lovely with all the residents. They have some form of entertainment on most afternoons, be it singing, bingo, craft work, musical entertainers etc. Residents are encouraged to socialise but there is never any pressure if they wish to stay and watch TV in their room. There are always a few small issues in homes, such as mixed up clothing etc but these are dealt with easily. Mum is fully settled and happy there now and we have no worries for her well being.

As someone who has worked within carehome's/hospital's for over 10 years, when visiting Bluebell House it really does stand out amoungst the rest!, lovely welcoming atmosphere, very clean and bright. The staff are fantastic, always so professional and caring. residents and staff always seem happy. Definitely a 5 star home.

My aunt is at Bluebell House and has been a resident for around 6 months now, I visit atleast weekly and I am always very happy with my visits, my aunt always compliments the staff.

The food is beautiful home cooked! Staff can't do enough for you, there is always something happening for the residents to keep them stimulated
