Staff always friendly here, always helpful. Don't treat you like an idiot like some of them do in Milton. Also handy that the skips are below ground level so you don't have to keep walking up and down steps.

This site is being very well managed with the covid-19 restrictions. I have been five times in the last week and sometimes had to queue for about 20-25 minutes. Best time to go seems to be about 10am. Please note that there is no access to the tip from the B1040, they are operating a one way system through the centre and the road is otherwise closed. You need to access the tip by going through Bluntisham, and exit onto the B1040.

Sunday 9th June 2024, they closed the gates 2 hours & 10 minutes early. Wasted journey again.

You now have to make a timed appointment on line to go. Their are also two types of vehicles, one with a permit and one without. Everything is explained online. When you get there you queue up and wait for the attendant to check you have booked a time, for he has a list of all vehicles attending. When their is a space the attendant will tell you where to go to unload.

Very professional booking a time slot ensures not too many people around at one time. The skips are below ground level so no steps to climb which is great when you have heavy or bulky items

A great local tip. All workers are very helpful and informative and will help if you need extra help with lifting an item and advising where to put a product if you don't know what bin it should go in.
All the bins are level to the parking areas so you throw th3 item in rather than having to climb the steps like milton. You can't recycle paint here. Milton is the closest one for recycling paint.

Plenty of space, we'll maintained and easy to park, loses a star and they could have better and bigger signage, above each skip, to help, what goes where, as this wasn't clear when driving in, which skips could have what in them.

Skip for kitchen waste? Wasn't clear what could and couldn't go into each skip.
Only a couple of skips did have Do's and Don'ts on the skip on the don'ts be good if they showed what skip it could go in.

Other than signage, clean and tidy and well maintained 👍👍👍👍

Avoid using the telephone to book, it shows a private address and the house owner has had numerous calls. Just use online booking and when you arrive at the tip there is not a great deal of difference than pre lockdown
