Refused furniture donation as colour of wood not deemed as fashionable and therefore not profitable. I was under the impression this particular charity shop helped more financially vulnerable in communities to obtain necessary furniture for housing. I have referred my donations to local councillors for those who may be in need of this donation.

Charity shops have lost their way and forgotten the reason they were first started. Making a fortune and massive administration costs means this thriving business helps neither the poor or that little girl in the ads who carries water 5 miles the swollen children’s belly’s will remain swollen. Recently in a charity shop window I seen a Beleek condiment set second hand for £14 a few weeks before I bought exactly the same set new and boxed in House Of Fraser for £10. I have this awful feeling now that if all the hundreds of charities were investigated we’d have to build lots more prisons

This charity shop is still one of my favourites in Ballyclare and is still it is got very expensive. I cannot work and am not claiming benefits. I find many items too expensive and can only afford the sale rail. I have been there this morning and still they are trying to charge almost full price for second/plus hand. We have lost the most affordable charity shop recently and it is greatly missed. I have noticed that the stock does not turn over as quickly and that the same items are on the shelves/hangers as there was last time I was in there some weeks ago. Hopefully they will see these comments and realise they could help those struggling to get new to them things, rather than pricing them out.

Upcycling "heaven" fabulous range and quality and all 4 a gd cause win win!! They stock a fabulous range of christian cards which can say exactly what you cant put into words. Friendly staff.

I watched three Blythswood lorries dumping their goods at Bruslee recycling plant this afternoon. It took two hours to unload the sofas pictures furniture shelves upcycled children's changing tables painted wooden tables corner units. Some had the price.tags dangling from them. All the cushions had to be compacted in the skips by the recycling workers. How bad for the environment. I can only assume this charity shop is closing down. Not dumping all the good Christian donations for body and soul #corruption

Furniture is priced too high. I was disappointed as they are charging almost new prices for very worn sofas.
