Shop variety is good but never have enough staff on the tills. other stores when they have queues get at least 1 other staff member to open another till but that never seems to happen in this store

It lost a star for being constantly cluttered with wire stillages. It makes wheelchair and pushchair access impossible at times and must constitute a fire hazard for evacuation

My only gripe about this store is they only usually have 1 till on and it's the main till with the lottery and what not. The cue can be down the shop but they don't give a damn. Can be stood waiting for ages for the dole'rs to get their fix on lottery tickets and vapes/tabs

This store in Jarrow needs more security. An ugly looking chav in a grey tracksuit came into the store and started stuffing multiple jars of coffee down his top. Later on outside in the nearby carpark he asked us if we were interested in purchasing any coffee from him. Really unpleasant shopping experience. He is often seen in South Shields doing the same thing and all these shops are now becoming a no go area for us.
