Could not recommend Boom Battle Bar more for a fun night in Glasgow! We had the pleasure of being served by Bethany, who was just amazing, very helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly, super friendly. We would recommend Nolf and Shuffle! Great date night for couples, or fun night out for friends/family!

Recommended place to visit.
My partner and I visited on a Sunday. It was quiet but no complaints as we didn’t feel rushed.
Met Bethany at reception, very welcoming and helpful. Talked us through each game we had booked.
First we had the Axe throwing - 30mins. We had never done this before so Alec talked us through it all. Great fun, absolutely recommended. 30 mins was more than enough time for 2 people. The only thing I will say is the board was quite used and some of the shots didn’t stay on the board but didn’t affect our fun.
Next we moved on to the Augmented darts 25mins. It was okay. Foam board with a projector displaying what games you can play. Easy enough to change games if you want to try another. Personally not for us but still fun.
We then moved on to Nolf. That was fun. Lots of different challenges and skills to manoeuvre around.
Finally we played the American Pool. Can’t go wrong with that. Good quality tables and plenty available.
Food and Drink are available, reasonably priced.
The cost for our afternoon was a fair price and Student Discount is accepted.
All round great day, attentive staff. Bethany and Alec especially.

Came here for some Axe throwing With Billy! He was outstanding. Very professional when showing us how to do it and good tips throughout! Not to mention a bit of banter while throwing which is always appreciated and makes for a great and fun session. Highly recommend!!

Billy taught us to do a 1 hour session of axe throwing. It's was a fantastic experience. I lost due to the very powerful magnets not being on during my throws. But that's OK, I'll come back next time with a bribe to keep them on. Cheers Billy

We got the birthday package for my sisters 18th to start the night—so fun!! We chose to do darts and axe throwing. We had booked on a whim and were a bit unsure about the axe throwing in particular. However, the host Billy was so welcoming. He demonstrated how to do it at the start but he also stays through the round and gives tips to make sure everyone can have a try and feel more confident. Even my gran was throwing axes!!!

As part of the birthday package we got two drinks too and the selection was great. The bar staff were fast and really lovely. I’ve been with friends casually before but I’d definitely book another package—my sister also said she’d like to bring her friends when they turn 18 😂

Went yesterday for axe throwing. We turned up and were greeted by a lovely lady who took our details and got us booked in. Our instructor, Billy, was a laugh, really nice guy who was really easy to talk to. The hour passed by so quickly, with any of the staff we dealt with being really friendly and nice.

100% recommended. Nice staff, clean facilities, reasonable prices.

Just a word of note - axe throwing is a sober activity for safety reasons. Didn't bother us as it was the start of the day, but if you were planning it later in the day, it's worth a note to prevent disappointment for your night out.

Had a great time. The axe throwing and shuffle board were great fun with the staff giving friendly help despite my terrible skills.
Fun atmosphere. Let down by them struggling to get food out for a large group (24). Took almost an hour but food came out hot and together although might have been better to send out things as they were ready to allow those who could wait to do so and those who couldn't to get fed first. Still a really fun day and I'm sure wouldn't have the same issue with a smaller group
