Large supermarket focusing on quality local products, besides the usual offerings. Fresh cheeses and other delicacies can be bought at the counter. They have a large selection of specialty wines and beers. Definitely a more upmarket supermarket than the Sainsbury and Coop in town.

I was told that you could find 'Booths' here in Windermere and I was certainly not disappointed.

Goods sold here are diversed and organized. Prices well labelled. You could get all of your daily necessities here, from fresh meat and groceries, pastries, ready-to-eat snacks and prepackaged food, dairy and cheese, teas and coffee etc.

Place was spacious too so you could shop comfortably.

This is a great store, it's got lots of choice with everything you'd expect and more. There's a section that sells souvenirs and household bits.

The cafe has a delicious range of cakes and hot amd cold food. I had a piece of Tiramsu sponge cake which was large and fresh.
You get 2 hours free parking or you can extend to 3 if you buy food from the cafe.

We decided to nip to Booths for a Full English and it was perfect.
Good quality ingredients and, we could decide how we wanted our eggs (which were perfectly poached).
The tea was leafed and the coffee was hot.
Great smile and greeting from the Staff and an arrangement of lovely clean tables.
We shopped for a picnic afterwards and headed to Windermere.
Only thing, if I was super picky, was that there weren't any freshly baked scones available for our picnic Cream Tea.

Always a fine selection of foods at Booths, but at a cost. Others are almost as good, yet don't quite offer the 'slow country's service available at Booths. There is so much less urgency at the tills with staff finding time to chat with customers. Its nice, as long as I am not in a hurry 😉. It remains the food retailer of our choice when we visit the Lakes.

Lovely selection of groceries, artisan and local. Not overly expensive, but not many 'cheap, no frills' options. However, everything we bought was exceptional quality and the staff were lovely, generous free samples too!

Visited today for breakfast in store. Food was nice and very reasonable. Staff friendly and the place was clean. Only problem was the constant BANGING all the time really LOUD from staff making coffee and slamming the coffee maker filter. Did my head in. Lots of other customers saying same. Saying they won't be back. Yeah. Not good. Avoid unless banging doesn't bother you while you eat. We will stay away. Shame as food was okay

Ample free parking, good products and well laid out store. Had a range of normal and also touristy food/products to suit most budgets.
EV chargers in the car park if you need them.
