I visited the opticians at the weekend as I wanted to change my current frames to some new ones. I was greeted by a very pleasant member of the team, Kaya Mai who listened to my concerns and assisted with helping me find a new frame. She was very helpful, professional and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. I settled on a frame that she picked for me and then proceeded to take my measurements for my lenses which she did efficiently.
The last few times I have been to the Wetherby branch I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend

The eye test was thorough, and I felt very well looked after throughout the whole appointment. They helped me choose the perfect frames, and I never felt rushed or pressured. There is a wonderful, kind, and professional team at Boots Opticians in Wetherby. Everyone I interacted with today at the branch was warm, friendly and calm (despite traffic causing chaos throughout the day and impacting appointment times, I ended up being 30 minutes late, and they still managed to accommodate me which was brilliant, and not expected!). Above all, the whole team engaged with my questions and provided a really positive experience at every stage of my appointment. I travel specifically to this branch from over 25miles away because of this consistently great standard of care. Highly recommend!

I had a brilliant experience at Boots Opticians in Wetherby. The whole team were friendly, professional, and made me feel really comfortable from start to finish. The eye test was very thorough, and everything was explained clearly so I knew exactly what my results meant.

I was especially impressed with the manager ( I believe her name was Kaya-mai), who went out of their way to make sure I was looked after. They were approachable, knowledgeable, and took the time to check that I was happy with my glasses and the service I received. It really made the experience feel personal and well cared for.

There’s also a great range of frames to choose from, and the staff were patient while I tried on different styles until I found the right pair.

Overall, the service was excellent, and I’d happily recommend Boots Opticians in Wetherby to anyone looking for eye care. The team — and especially the manager — really do go above and beyond.

Pleasant surroundings, friendly efficient staff, air conditioning, excellent choice of frames, high tech equipment. For me personally I loved having the same optician, Heather, carry out my eye test two and a half years after my previous one, it is rare these days. Highly recommend Boots Opticians.

Professional. Helpful. Testing at the Wetherby branch (including 3D test) was clearly explained. Results were discussed and any issues addressed in a comfortable environment. Choice and purchase of frames was also easily dealt with but NOT as a priority over dealing with the actual health and well-being of the eye and sight checks. That is not always the feeling with other opticians.
