The site layout was designed by a lackwit a single lane all the way round so on busy times you may have to queue to get out after you have disposed of your "treasure"
There are a good number of skips for different items and most of the staff are helpful though some obviously don't like their jobs

What a great experience this morning. We rolled up with our small trailer and were greeted by happy smiling staff ( yes they were!) They assisted with unloading and even shoveled some leaves out to avoid them blowing everywhere as we moved. This site is first class . Bad point Closed Wednesday and Thursday . ( Would be good if they could alternate closing days with another site like Spalding? ) It is easy to moan and I can only judge on our experience today and the staff on duty today are to be congratulated.

Application of common sense required and who are you people running this site. It appears only those who have a motorized vehicle can use a site they pay for!! You clearly have an unconscious bios to present a feeling of dread to those wishing to use this facility and your professionalism inconsistent, with a clear agenda to present threat management prior to engaging any thought process. If the staff you employ don't wish to be there leave I would suggest they find alternative employment but don't take it out on the public as this is a tax payers and public facing position ! I have never seen anyone so aware, quick footed and eager to stop me in my tracks today, i do wish this energy was applied to assist wait times etc so clearly an agenda here!! I arrived with two very small buckets of rubble, and a very big queue of vehicles so tried to ease waiting time by walking to the rubble skip shouted at that its not allowed. No signs stating I could not walk to the skip. Therefore to use my local tip I can only do so if I have a motorized vehicle . Very inconsistent and shouting and banging on windows wasn't what I was expecting when I’m always patient polite and helpful. To be shouted through your window and then get threatened to be reported for fly tipping, when I attempted to leave INSIDE the gate (10 yards ) from the relevant skip. The staff normally assist by taking items from the public's vehicles so clearly very inconsistent and doesn’t warrant such an approach which goes some way in explaining the situation with the apparent increase to fly tipped items around the Boston area. This whole site needs a complete re think to is approach/ layout and how it conducts itself or is it simply the intention to somehow stop people generating waste and using a service they pay for!! a truly horrible experience and always is, i honestly hate having to go there!!!! N.B: its a shame other staff are not aware of the requirements as my wife entered the site through the other gate on foot with a small item and not challenged at all ...strange!!! To assist i would suggest suitable clear signage but better more inform via your web page so the public know before arriving that they need to own a car or have a taxi ride to use this awful site. Ha very eco friendly in meeting your environmental CO 2 omissions

Having looked at the website where the opening and closing times state 8am to 4pm, I folded the seats, put a protective plastic sheet in the back and loaded up my green waste. After spending a half hour in the usual bad traffic I arrived at seven minutes to four, only to be told "We're closed, we close at 3.50" The website says 4pm. A wasted journey and waste of my time and now I have to wait until Friday as the facility is closed Wednesday and Thursday. I was somewhat angry!!!
For goodness sake get your website updated or sort out your staff for closing ten minutes before the stated time!

I haven't been to the tip for about a year and always found staff and experience to be really good, today however was a bit of a nightmare. Staff not knowing where items go and a little less than helpful. Hopefully things will improve before the Bank Holiday weekend.
