AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Beyond Disappointing!

Spa, Breakfast and Dinner are all extras to pay for!
Massive queues for the Restaurant and Bar and not enough staff
A lone guest not involved in functions is unable to experience a relaxing hotel experience or effectively use the basic facilities.

Three functions going on, so massive queues to check in. Room was not as requested when booked so had to queue again at Reception. Clearly specific requests at booking are not adhered to and rooms are allocated on arrival not in advance according to booking requirements. As the hotel was full an alternative could not be found. I also paid for breakfast and booked a time slot. I asked about booking a table for dinner only to be told the Restaurant was fully booked but I could eat in the bar. After 2 hours of messing about queuing and trying to sort the room. I went down to the Spa area and was informed I needed to pay to use the facilities. I had asked Reception if I needed a towel and money for a locker in the Spa and at no point was I told I'd need to pay to use it! This was sorted and the charge waived but honestly the Spa area was awful. The jacuzzi was cold, you have to go up and down stairs to use the different areas. The steam room is disgusting. It's like being in a Nissen hut complete with metal roof which is rusty, the rust has all run down the walls in brown streaks! I went down to the bar for dinner, and there was a massive queue, with one person serving, by the time I would have reached the bar they would have stopped serving food. I found a member of staff and explained my dilemma to which she said they had stopped serving already 30 minutes ahead of the documented time. She was helpful and did put an order through to the kitchen for me. In the morning I arrived at my booked breakfast time only to find another long queue. I needed to be somewhere specifically which was the purpose of my stay, which meant I would be very late! There were not enough staff to deal with the hotel being at full capacity. The staff did their best, I am grateful to the Duty Manager Emma, Sam on reception and another lady on reception who's name I didn't get. I felt that my experience as a guest was severely compromised as the functions all took precedence.

Absolutely idealic setting lovely little village 4 mins walk. Bedrooms need a little up dating. Dinning room not big enough for amount of people. Food plentiful and reasonable. Swimming pool lovely absolutely peaceful. Entertainment good. Great for a short stay.

We visited today to enjoy the spa facilities, including the pool, steam room, jacuzzi, and sauna. The highlight of our visit was a massage with Helen and Jacqueline. Both therapists were incredibly professional and skilled, making the experience truly wonderful. We felt completely at ease and well cared for. The entire team was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout. Highly recommended—thank you for a lovely day

Booked via Groupon for a night away with dinner, breakfast and leisure facilities.

Upon arrival we were given our room but the room has not been cleaned. There was empty beer bottles, unmade beds and rubbish. We were allocated another room.

The rooms and hotel is very dated and could do with a renovation to bring it up to a decent standard.

The buffet food was awful. The food was cold and no fresh vegetables, people were arriving for dinners and there was no food left. Breakfast was poor again cold and cheap foods used.

The leisure facilities are dated and mouldy. And the spa availability non existent.

Staff were friendly.

I would only give this hotel a two star rating and that is being kind. It’s a shame as it could be a lovely inviting hotel.

If you are wheel chair dependant or mobile with walking frame, sticks etc AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.|The hotel does not have any designated blue badge parking. Access to reception is a very small ramp on the right which has a step up of about half an inch. There is a slope to your right which give access to the hoetel but, you have a four to five inch step up.|Reception is rather small with a lot of space taken up by large overstuffed settees . Easy to get and very difficult to get out of as they are below wheel chair height.| There are only a few rooms that are actually on the same level as reception. All the rest are either down or up stairs. There is a small four person lift available that can access all floors.|Dining room and bar. Only accessible by climbing up 5 big steps that has a wooden bannister either side but not suitable for small or arthritic hands.|Toilet facilities. There is only 1 disabled toilet which is on the same level as the bar but nearly 75-100 yds away and very poorly sign posted.|The hotel was over booked with dining space very small for the number of guests using it. There were three sittings for meals, on our first night our party was booked fora 7pm sitting but this was put back to 8pm which resulted in the main course being restricted to roast pork or a rather unpleasant looking vegetarian lasagne. Unfortunately some guests ignored the timings and went for a meal when they felt like it.|We had great company with our friends but the hot al management let the organisers down.|Please note that I am a retired nurse with 18 years experience in nursing young disabled and I am now disabled myself. I use a mobility scooter due to degeneration of my lower spine. Walking with two sticks, especially climbing steps or stairs is extremely difficult and painful.

Booked this place for mine and .y wife's wedding anniversary and wife's birthday the following day.
First impressions are WOW, The grounds are fantastic as you drive in, really stunning. Turned up around 3pm to check In, the lobby was packed with guests but we got seen to rather quickly. Gave them my name, no booking (booked online) checked again, no booking. Showed them my emails and proof of payment, no booking. They do some calls and emails to Head office to confirm, no history of it... we get told to sit and wait, around 45mins, eventually they find us a room and let us check in, upgraded us to the executive suit room 0117! Jesus christ, if thats executive, I'd hate to see what a standard double room is like. Paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom. Mould round the bath, bathroom flooring peeling off the floor and dirt everywhere, hand towel rail was hanging on by a thread, bath handle was coming off the bath. TV didn't work, bed was rock hard, dirty carpets, very very old fashioned. Not been decorated since the 80s. Went for tea around 5.30pm, went to the bar and it's card only. No cash on site. Great! Only deal in cash. Went for dinner. Really nice food, red hot and nice atmosphere. Have soke more drinks and head up to the room, 11pm comes and there's this whining/ ringing noise that was constant, all night it kept us awake it was awful. Get up go for breakfast. Was a bit early but they let us sit down, brilliant. Food looks great... freezing cold plates, this is 8.15am cold plates which ment by time we had sat down with our food, the food was cold. Eggs were well over cooked, beans were cold, even when putting them on the plates. The only thing that was hot that day was the coffee!
We were hoping the spa would be better as we had booked treatments. And thank god it was. The spa was lovely. Staff was great, made us relaxed and unwind. The girls who did mine and my wife's massages were incredible 😲 really made us feel great and relaxed, the rooms are stunning too! Would come back to the spa any day! Just not the hotel.

Great value for money. We made it a quick "off the cuff" stop over. Low expectations due to price. Was pleasently surprised. Village is lovely and within walking distance.

We got married at Bosworth Hall on the 16th August 2025. The day was fantastic and ran so smoothly.

Jackson and Emma on the wedding team were brilliant right from booking the venue back in December 2023.

The rooms are absolutely amazing, we stayed in the Norfolk suite on the night of the wedding and it is truly beautiful, the huge widows looking out onto the pristine ground makes for some amazing photos.

The food on our wedding day was really, really nice. we had no complaints whatsoever and everyone was impressed - there was plenty of it too.
