Small and tidy recycling centre. Now no need to book appointments. On weekends and good weather days there will be queue. Staff helpful.
Need to be there 10 min before closing time. On a Friday, I reached 3:55 ( 5 Mun before closing time) and denied entry even with no queue or no other cars inside. But that is the rule and displayed outside

Just because we turn up in a van doesn't mean we are carrying builders waste. Absolute jobsworth made an inspection, including the vehicle on par with a police officer. No wonder people dump rubbish!!

Every time I go here it gets worse. The amount of red tape and stupid rules baffle me. Never has a recycling centre been so opposed to people correctly disposing of their waste. Pair that with a shocking site layout and horrendous waiting time to leave it’s no surprise people flytip!!

You pay your council tax, you pay for your green bin to be emptied annually, but you take a small boot full of rubble to the recycling centre and they decide as per “rules” it’s more than 1 bin full… so you can’t empty it all… don’t worry though, just come back tomorrow to empty the rest…. WHAT’S THE BLOODY DIFFERENCE!!!!!!! Stupid council rules and dozy site manager = useless site.

WARNING - make sure you arrive well before 3.50pm, the gates close at 3.50 (as I discovered today) not 4pm. Staff won’t tolerate any latecomers - they are all in their cars by 3.51pm!
Perhaps you can update the Google profile so that it accurately reflects the correct closure time. It would be particularly useful to those, like me, who are not local to the centre!

Badly organized and badly run. Staff are nice but with an average queue time of 45 minutes it really needs sorting

Clean, tidy, well organised area. Asked one of the men which skip to use to put an old bookcase, he pointed out the correct one, some help would've been nice as it was heavy, and he was only standing around. There were 2 other older ladies who could've done with some help, none of the workers there offered any assistance .
