At first it wasn’t a great experience trying to get through to the manager, the other staff in store were lovely. Gosia was the best she was so kind and helpful and made a huge help to a great cause! Because of her I had to leave this review. Thank you for taking the time out to help me today after 3 days of trying to get help, you were lovely!

I received an email and text saying my items were ready for collection at the store but when I arrived they had not been delivered. Abdul was extremely helpful and sorted out what could have been a disaster for me into a positive - although I did have to go to Ilford to pick it up....B&Q systems not good staff very good.

I can’t say enough good things about Lauren at B&Q!

I needed to paint my flat but was completely unsure about how much paint I’d need, especially since I was using different types for the ceilings, coving, bathroom, kitchen, passage, bedroom, living room, doors, door frames, and skirting.

The thought of figuring it all out felt overwhelming, and I had been putting off making the call because I find these things super stressful.

But Lauren completely changed that experience for me.

From the moment she answered, she was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and thorough.

She took the time to go through everything in detail, double-checked her calculations to ensure accuracy, and advised me precisely on what I needed—no more, no less.

What truly set her apart was her willingness to go the extra mile.

She didn’t just give me vague estimates; she actually walked to the paint section while on the phone with me to ensure she was giving me the best advice.

Received excellent help from Sandra regarding a nightmare shower rail rider/screw issue. She was incredibly busy with customers on a Sunday but gave me the time of the day, got me the products I needed to fix my issue and sorted out a quick refund for me when I purchased an incorrect product. Will visit again asap!

I was helped by Abdel who is absolutely lovely. I asked for his help as to where I could get the planed smooth timber I was going to purchase to get cut to what I needed where he said they don't do that in-store. He graciously offered to cut it after I purchased it with the hand saw he had behind the counter and helped me measure it perfectly and cut all 6 pieced for me even though whey were closing. I really appreciate his help. Great customer service. I would recommend anyone that comes to this store to speak to Abdel if you need help.

It's good and convenient for click and collect. But for day to day DIY/Home improvement products apart from paint it's not so great.
I do recommend the click and collect or next day delivery to the store services. It's not usually busy and collection is fast.
If you need paint, brushes etc and small bit like plants and outdoor flowers it's very good. But general fixtures and fittings, tools and hand tools check but buy online for guaranteed product.
