A very good experience today. We found what we wanted on the website and four were shown as being available. It was an out-of-season item (a barbecue accessory) and not on display but Ade showed admirable cheerful determination to track it down for us. (It was in a crate on high level racking which required him to fetch a mechanical elevated platform and search through several crates.)

I booked an appointment today to talk about having a shower tray removed,and then my appointment was cancelled and we couldn't understand why,then we find out that B & Q don't do part installations at all!..so we were misinformed basically and won't be having anything else done by you..........

Member of staff who came to help was extremely polite & patient (considering it was 2 mins to closing), I did not feel rushed, he is a credit to the team.
Unfortunately, having searched, we could not find any wooden rings for the wooden curtain poles on sale .
Excellent service. Big let down on item not stocked, which is a mystery as they sell the poles. !!

Easy parking and good range of what I required. Better value than Homebase along the road, unfortunately forced to use self-service checkouts (the one cashier was only offering to do returns) which were just a counter with screen and a scanner. No instructions on what to do.

Gosh I hate these sort of places --- I always come away with the wrong thing and seem to pay the earth for nothing very much. But I recently had OUTSTANDING SERVICE there from "Gail" who works in the Kitchen and Bathroom section. I needed to order a new kitchen and muddle headed as always but armed with a bit of a list she sat down with me at a moments notice and went through the whole lot --- ordering as we went, everything including the kitchen sink. It took her over an hour but she was incredibly patient and very helpful. She saved me 10 per cent on my budget and ensured that I did not order more than I needed but had it all covered. No-one has every been that helpful in such a store before, at least to me, and I was incredibly grateful. She is an absolute star! (and no, she is not known to me!)
