This information is completely wrong and not updated over Christmas holidays. What an utter waste of time and disrespect for people living in the Borough by not ensuring correct opening information over the holidays.
Clearly a team requiring a significant improvement in staff at the Council.

For the last few month's the binmen have been weird. They take my bin all the way to the end of my street so I have to hunt for it . Another week they broke my bin ? So had to ask for a new one. But today 7am 11/11/24. They didn't empty it at all. Yes they have done the other's. I checked . Cant call the office?

There are multiple covid guidelines that the business needs you to follow. It is open as usual, with restricted parking bays. Due to the restricted parking bays, the queues are much longer. You are still able to recycle your normal household waste. The staff are professional and helpful. There is a restricted number of people in the bay or the courtyard. No one is allowed to roll their window down or leave their car. Overall, as long as you budget the 30-40 minutes waiting time, everything else is done quite quickly so you can get on with the rest of your day.

It is always a 5 ⭐️ when these facilities are available to the public for free, when the queue under normal circumstances is reasonable, when you are able to dispose all the unwanted items/materials you traveled with in one go, when the staff directions are clear and friendly, when the people who are less able are given a helpful hand as going up stairs with stuff is not fun, when the traffic in and out is supervised. The facility is definitely not big enough for the Borough and too far for too many residents. Prepare to be disappointed sometimes.

First visit. Sat in a queue for nearly an hour. Didn't know there was a different tip for green waste to household. Then had to queue again for nearly an hour only to be told they weren't taking paint that day which was my main rubbish. I'm trying to move so have a lot to clear out. Never visited such a badly organised tip. Staff were fine but tip is too small to service such a big area. Dreading going again.

Run efficiently and easy to use. Going at peak is awful but off peak drive in and out quickly. For use by royal borough residents and you show ID on arrival.
