Sneaky technique from both companies (lbs waste and browns), we had loaded the skip in 7 minutes whilst the company tried to figure out what the wait and load policy was. Never when I booked was I told that there would be a wait and load cost but they knew that we needed the skip to go the same day, they used this as a bargaining chip to get £35 out of me. The driver we saw drove off around the corner instead of just taking the skip with him. Initially lbs waste told me they didn't have any 4yard skips when I asked about them because they tried to upsell the larger skip. Both browns and lbs waste are sneaky companies so be aware! Happy we don't have to use these companies weekly!

Had a good few skips this year from Browns. Always do a good job, they do what they say they will do, which is always appreciated! Positive experience from the beginning, staff on the phone were polite and helpful and dealt with things efficiently even when I initially ordered the wrong size skip and had to amend the booking.
The skip was delivered on time,Ray the driver coped brilliantly with the appalling parking by local residents which means that manoeuvres are a nightmare.
He was wonderful to deal with and explained everything we needed to know about loading the skip correctly. He is a credit to the company as are the office staff.
Having dealt with far less helpful and much less friendly people in the past we will certainly use Browns again and would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone needing an efficient service with cheerful,friendly staff..

Whilst working on our house I have had 5 skips from Brown's, they are always delivered earlier than expected and Brown's havent ever chased me to get the skip back. Very fairly priced and excellent customer service as I have a smaller drive and they have always been understanding and provided a smaller vehicle to deliver the skips. Highly recommended from a genuine customer!!

I used H Brown again this week for skip hire because they were so good when I used them last summer for my kitchen renovation. They turn up when they say they are going to and importantly pick up promptly when you are finished with the skip either same day or early the next morning. Would highly recommend and I wouldn’t use any other skip company - I have used several in the Alsager area and none have given as good a service as Brown’s.
