When you’re able to get in, it’s fine. Problem is ridiculous queues virtually every time. Today they were past the end of the road plus plus plus! I generally go on a Tuesday. I have varied the times but this hasn’t helped. Avoid ?

Don’t go unless you want to spend half a day in the queue. Close the site 2x a day to empty the bins that take around an hour each time, no notice when the bins are being emptied so it’s just a draw of a luck. Awful coordination, improvements needed asap.

Please consider staying 1 hour after closing so you do not have to keep closing 1 hour after opening most days! Stick to your opening hours and work smarter! 3rd visit in 2 weeks and it is the same each time! The team are pleasant enough 🙂

An absolute joke!
Took us 40 mins to get in, then a further 15 mins to wait at the next gate. Cars everywhere, no organisation, a few near misses of people rushing to get a a space next to a skip. Once we were finally in the guy 'assisting' with the general waste skips was a total jobs worth! Rude, unhelpful, sarcastic and condescending.
Don't bother, go elsewhere!

My Freezer Defrosted unfortunately when I was on Holiday , I do live in Goodrington, But unfortunately our Recycling Centre is Closed on Sunday , hence I went to Newton Abbott, ( Yes I know one has to be a Newton Abbott Resident ) but with 2 Large Black Bags of Defrosted Food , I did think they would be Obliging, Well quite The Opposite , The Secruity Man was very Nice ,He asked for another Member for Advice , The Other Member Came Over I was told in no uncertain terms " To Go Away , You don't Live Here , Your Not Welcome " Good Grief what a Negative Attitude ,quite Rude and what a Jobs Worth . I had to Drive around Site to get out ,and Actually Passed The Food Bins ,where there wasn't One Car . Have People No Commen Sense , well obvously not . Have a Word with Your Staff Teighbridge Council .

Easy access, no queues, proof of address as people from Torquay cannot use the site. Staff will give assistance if needed.. Well laid out with easy access to nominated areas for recycling of garden and household waste. Visited late Thursday afternoon, security stops you for proof that you live locally. Was generally quiet and went to the appropriate area to dispose of waste items. Garden waste is the first area immediately on the left after entering. Follow road around and stay on left/ if disposing other waste. Large containers on right for glass, newspapers & magazines, cardboard, bulky plastics, light plastics (coke bottles etc), flat glass, fluorescent tubes, engine oil, car batteries, pottery and crockery. Left lane leads to further recycling areas for general waste, furniture, mattresses. Continue on a short distance to dispose of televisions, white goods, metal, small appliances, cardboard and plasterboard. Please note: ensure that you have proof of address with you, Torbay residents are NOT permitted to use the site. Separate your waste when loading your vehicle, it will make your visit go more smoothly if you are organised. Staff will give reasonable assistance if asked and appropriate - if it took 2 people to load the waste then 2 should accompany it for disposal at recycling centre.

I’m sure that the traffic could be controlled in a better way, but the staff are usually very friendly and helpful.

AWFUL!! Shocking management of the place, sit in queue for 45m-1hour because they decide to close it to empty bins. The place opens at 10am and they close it at 10:30 to empty bins? They should clear it when it empty’s/ before it opens and then it won’t fill up as quickly.
