Having been a regular user since moving here 4 years ago, despite a clear disablement I only once got offered some assistance and that was from a member of the public. Imagine my surprise today when I had just got out of my car when approached by an elderly gentleman who insisted on emptying the car.
Apparently he was one of a group of volunteers who attend 2/3 days a week.
Never been treated like this before but I liked it.

Easy access, most non hazardous waste can be disposed of. Large recycling area and shop for purchasing pre used items.

All good, very helpful staff, it's very clean there. There's also a secondhand shop to look around and buy things from on site.

I am a regular visitor here and I can only speak highly of the staff who are always very polite, friendly, helpful and professional. People genuinely look happy to work there which is always a good sign.
Everything always looks tidy, in order, properly organised and staff always seem to be working efficiently like a well run ship. The booking system is also a very good idea, as it keeps a check in who is coming in and out.
Overall, what I have seen makes for a good customer experience and good to know the local council are keeping the standards high for our town.
I like the way they also sell some of the unwanted things in the shop on site. The shop keepers seem to have a good eye and several times a day they appear to do sweeps of the yard picking out treasures to be sold on for a good cause. I have bought some very nice things from there for next to nothing in price. They also seem to recycle some of their rubble and soil in to bags of grit etc so very good to see things aren’t going to waste.
I have been to several recycling centres in the region and this is by the best.
