SCAM from my point of view. We gathered clothes in very good condition. 7 massive bags, filled boot of Ford c max to full capacity. There was nearly 30kg of nice quality stuff. They offered £5 for that. It's not worth it. Wouldn't even cover the petrol that we used to go there.

perfect!! as long as you bring in nice clean clothes you get great money from something you would throw away! seen a few bad complaints but after talking to manager i fully understand why he showed me 1 customer and it stank!!! dirty stuff etc had a estimate note for example and they was estimated £15 by weight but after seeing the stuff he was talking about i find more disgusting a customer thought them clothes would be worth anything and accuse the place of lying lol !!! 100% coming back next clear out Thank you

Lovely folks. They offered me less than the estimate but the guy did know what he was talking about and gave me a full history of how they need blankets in Pakistan and more clothes in Africa and how it all works... If you go in with the MINDSET... it's for charity.... but they will give me a few quid back I would not get from a charity and every bit back helps me and the rest helps others then you are fine... if you are expecting to walk with a would of cash for your clothes that would not sell on eBay you haven it washed and would no longer wear yourself and few if anyone would buy in UK... they get rid of all expectations...... if you feel like doing something fro charity and feel like some of it is worth something and you get a few quid back for your time and petrol.... and rub a few pound coins together on exiting.. then great..... I found them very organised with dates and people who had been in and names and addresses..I had a very long chap with the head chap and his helper and this is not a scam as someone said.. it is a charity and kind of business social enterprise that's a win win for those working there and those in need and to you that is a necessary useful global charity.... I will be going again...... You can sell the best stuff on eBay and the rest just put it in a bin liner and drop it off and pop back in and get a bit of cash with the rest .... treat it in this spirit and its fine..... and it works. Surprised at some folks said they could not be found .. I found they had great organised names and addresses of people who had donated and were very transparent and caring people who worked here who were genuinely organised and on a mission .... it is not going to make you rich this... but it will help others and you will get a few quid back.... treat as charity first expect nothing.. be pleased with what is in your hand.. They are there to help others with your donations first and foremost...... It might feel like some insurance company offering the lowest possible price for your clothes... but after a long chat to what they do globally and what was needed and all the people who work here see themselves as a charity first and foremost to those in genuine need.... not you. I found my experience there very pleasant and enjoyed asking about the global operations and all. Fascinating chat actually. Will go again with a another large bin liner on the way..If it pays for my petrol and lunch I am happy.

DONT RECOMMEND (it won’t let me post a negative review for some reason)

Dropped off 5 bags of clothes with them around the 2nd week of August. They took my number and details so they could contact me in about a week once they had sorted it and I could get payment. Have heard nothing from them since, despite contacting them several times enquiring about what is happening . So I have never been paid and they took the clothes. So basically whole thing is a big scam.

We took some bags of clothes and shoes there and were told to come back for the money in a weeks time. When we left the clothes with them we were estimated about £15.

When I went to collect the money I was told it came to £4.80!

So they are estimating people wrong.

Also I then said I wasn’t happy with the amount they were going to give me, so could I refuse the money and take my items back and they told me NO because it’s already been bagged up now.

How do I know that they even weighed all of my items if I’m not there to see them do it. Also I had lots of baby clothes that I could I got more money for.

I’m not happy and will not be using them again!

Been there few months ago and they ~made mistake with payment~ . I thought once it can happen, so few days ago, nice clean washed clothes 14kg plus few other things, should be £7.60 paid only £6 so they always try to cheat and pay less, bit advice - sell your clothes on Facebook or car boot you will get more. They just lost a customer.

Took in 2 black bags full of clothes on a Saturday and I asked for a estimate of how much it would be he said £5 - £6 which was great. You know any bit of money helps these days. Was told to come back the next day to get the money.... so came back on Sunday and was told that nothing was done and to come back another day....so waisted fuel going down there and there's different people saying different things. Some come to monday and I go down there again to be told all I'm getting is £2. What a joke. What happend to the £5- £6 estimate. Just was messed around and told loads of different things. Not the best.

Took all nice clean clothes jeans jumpers even suits some clothes still had tags on took 25kg of clothes guy says roughly £11.00 went back and he said all the clothes were ripped and stained and offered £3.20 absolute scammer not even worth the fuel should of rather took it to the charity shop. NEVER WILL USE AGAIN JOKE
