Poor Customer Service We was hoping to have a future relation with this company to help build our small computer business as the products which they sold seemed to good and was affordable priced for us to make a profit when resold - we ordered a job lot of laptops from a known auction site, all was going well until we had a serious issue with one of the laptops, which resulted in a fire, thankfully no one was hurt or further damage occurred, we issued a replacement laptop immediately and the customer was happy - We spoke to this company to ask for a bit of funds back to cover loss of the fire damaged laptop and the costs lost on the replacement, their response to this was unacceptable, they took no responsibility for this matter, our main upset was about the customers ordeal, could of gone a lot worse, (house fire, or worse death) they said these laptops are sold as seen with no warranty, I understand the warranty issue as they are older laptops but with no help trying to sort this matter out was just wrong, their information page from the auction site stated all their products come with a 60 day guarantee and when mentioned this to them, they said that policy has changed and no longer support this, if that was the case then why was it up, we have lost a lot of respect for this company and will never be using them again - we are not writing this to slate this company in any way or form as we think they do an amazing job in recycling and reusing old tech instead of the products going to landfill, we have a strong heart in this ourselves and we do the same with our business, we are only writing this for awareness as they should of helped better with the situation

Brilliant service. I needed some personal computers to be securely destroyed and Chaps offered to collect and do the work at no charge save for courier fees. They corresponded promptly and sent a report very quickly to evidence teh work done. So easy and friendly to deal with, will definitely use again and highly recommend.

We needed to dispose of some old lap tops cables and other out of date tech . Searched for cable recycling and Chaps IT Recycling came up, we did not realise they were actually really near to our home so dropped them off with no problems. We got a certificate of how the items had been dealt with the next day. Brilliant service would definitely recommend them.

I took these two (functional but old) base units to the IT Chaps and they were able to wipe them and recycle some of the components to avoid landfill and so on. An extremely polite and efficient service from Dom and the team. Cheers!

I highly recommend this company. It's good to know that any useful parts from redundant IT equipment can be used, thus sending less to landfill. We received thorough documentation following the collection. All staff members were extremely friendly. We were e an accurate time slot for collection.
