I've seen Dr Dunne twice, once when I was unwell in pregnancy and once recently when I had concerns about my child. She was exceptional both times and made me feel comfortable very quickly. I've rarely felt so heard by a health professional. My appointment began 20 minutes late but I'm not changing my 5 stars because that's typical of many health services and it's clear that Dr Dunne is giving patients the time they need rather than kicking them out after 10-15 mins.
I also wanted to spare a word for the reception staff, who have always been lovely here in my experience. At my most recent visit, I observed a younger receptionist with glasses handling a situation with a very abrupt, grumpy man (who turned out to be very anxious) calmly and compassionately while setting clear boundaries. I was really impressed by her.

This is my first visit to Clare House having moved to Tiverton in May. I am really pleased to join this practice.
I saw Dr Hindle who has excellent communication skills both her listening and helpful information, she sent further information to me by email within a few hours.
The two receptionist I spoke to were also warm and very helpful. An excellent practice.

I have just had my 2nd Carpal tunnel operation and can not say highly enough what a fabulous service this is , from the secretary to the reception staff who greet everyone with a smile. Dr Jon Williams and his surgical team are so welcoming and make you feel so relaxed . They informed me from the start and during the operation what was going to happen and looked after me all the way through. If I had another wrist I would not hesitate to come back again 🤣

Hello, my child has been sick for a whole month, he smells bad. I would like to ask him to have a blood test, all the checks, but I have received no results. He doesn't see any need to do anything. He has a bad cough at night. It's such a shame. He's given antibiotics.

I recently had carpal tunnel surgery at Clare House and have been very impressed with the service I received from start to finish. Clare House is easy to get to, light and clean and feels very welcoming. The staff are friendly and professional and provided a warm welcome. My surgeon Dr. Jon Williams is very approachable and knowledgeable and kept me informed about the procedure before, during and after having it done. The surgery has already made a huge difference to my hand and I am feeling very positive.
I felt well cared for at Clare House and treated as an individual. This is a great facility for the local and wider communities of Devon. Thanks to all for such a positive experience.
