Core Business and Specialties

The primary specialty of Classic Car Shop is identified as a Car Dealer, specifically focusing on the transaction of classic and potentially antique vehicles. While broadly categorized as a car dealer, the emphasis appears to be on the unique nature of its inventory, which likely includes models from various decades and makes, catering to a niche market interested in automotive history and nostalgia. This specialization allows the company to serve a dedicated clientele seeking vehicles beyond the typical modern offerings of most dealerships.

Facilities and Services

When considering a visit or interaction with Classic Car Shop, potential customers should be aware of the facilities available. This adds a layer of customer service beyond just the transaction itself. Furthermore, the company accepts various payment methods, including major credit cards, simplifying the purchasing process for many buyers. The combination of a physical showroom (implied by the dealership nature), a wheelchair-accessible layout, and delivery options suggests a comprehensive approach to meeting customer needs both on and off the premises.

Digital Presence and Customer Engagement

In the digital age, an online presence is crucial for any business, and Classic Car Shop addresses this need through its website, accessible at www.classiccarshop.co.uk. This online platform likely serves as a repository for information about the dealership, its inventory, services, and contact details. While individual reviews can vary, the high average indicates a positive reputation for reliability and quality, which is essential for attracting new customers in the competitive classic car market. Prospective clients are strongly encouraged to peruse these reviews to gain further insight into what others have experienced.

What a wonderful garage with truly delightful people. I went to view a Mercedes SL500 that they had in stock with my wife and daughter. We were greeted by Martin the owner who is a wonderful individual and a great character. The cars in stock here are all immaculate and prepared to the highest standards. Martin was very honest about the vehicle we were interested in, he agreed to fix a few very minor flaws that I had identified and also sent the car off to have the windows in the soft top replaced (which I hadn't seen as it had a hardtop on). We also met Peter who is one of Martin's senior mechanics and the person who had prepared this vehicle, he is also a lovely gentleman and clearly had an attachment to this vehicle as he ran me over it specifics. The car was delivered in a covered lorry to my home address and looked fantastic on arrival. Unfortunately when I removed the hardtop the soft top would not operate properly, I contacted Martin and he sent Peter down to my house (a 2 hour drive away!) to repair it for me, absolutely wonderful service. We noticed that one of the rear brake lights was out and Peter insisted on driving to the local petrol pump and got me a replacement bulb at his own expense, truly a gentleman and a perfectionist...

This dealership only deals in top quality classic cars, it’s an absolute treat just browsing through the premises.
The service and quality of cars is excellent and I could not fault it.
The dialogue I had with Martin by phone was very reassuring and the car was everything he said it was.
Absolutely would not hesitate to use the school garage again.

I recently Purchased an immaculate car from Martin, it was exactly as he described it.
Travelling from Scotland by Train Martin picked me up at the station and chauffeured me to his very tidy and organised Showroom.
I completed the Purchase, then Martin organised the Transportation of my new car back to Scotland, the transport company was high class and couldn’t be more helpful, updating me on his Progress through the day.
Martin Daly and Peter the workshop manager were excellent to deal with, I now have my Immaculate dream car at home in Scotland.
Thanks Team for a great experience.

Have just driven to see a car as accurately described as could be. The Aston DB9 was as good at 18 years as my original was at two years old. It is an absolute pleasure to do business with Martin, and pete is just the guy to have looked your car over.
Having wandered around their classics they are all well presented. Well done fellas.
If you are up for a quality older car this is your place

I recently purchased Martin Daley's own personal Range Rover. This was the first car I have ever paid for before actually viewing it......why did I do that? Firstly and most importantly I had extensive telephone conversations with Martin who described the car and it's service history in detail. Secondly it is clear from his website that this is a professional outfit that does what it says and holds its reputation dear and thirdly Martin gave his word that he would give me my money back if the car was not exactly as described. Some would say I was naive but I thought otherwise.

When I met Martin for the first time when I went to Whaley Bridge to collect the car it became immediately obvious the sort of person he is.......no fool, straight talking, unafraid to express his views on a variety of topics, very accommodating but above all an honest man. I liked this man and knew I could do business with him again. The car was even better than he had described and once I had viewed it Martin spent time showing me his fantastic collection of classic cars.......there were several I could have taken home!!

My drive home to Norwich from Whaley Bridge (with a FULL tank of deisel) was a delight as I got used to the Range Rover. Thank you Martin, I could not be more pleased with not only the car but the whole buying experience. I could not recommend the School Garage more highly.

I have recently purchased a 1997 Jaguar Sovereign from Martin at The School Garage. This was one of the easiest transactions I have had in buying classic cars. We negotiated a fair price based on his description and photos. He agreed to service and MOT the car. He delivered it for free and even agreed to take it back if I disagreed with his description. The car duly arrived on time, was exactly as he described it and even had a decent amount of petrol in it. He did promise to leave me a bottle of single malt in the glove box, which he forgot, but I’ll let him off that one (joke). If only everyone in the car trade was as easy to deal with as Martin.

I bought a Porsche 997 from here, having spent a while looking for the best possible example. The car, if anything was better than described. Martin was super straightforward throughout. Overall I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, in my experience these guys can be depended upon, a spade will be called a spade and you won’t get messed about.

I have bought and sold cars through the The School Garage over two decades. I have always found Martin and Peter to be professional, dependable and extremely courteous. The stock is superlative and matched by the service offered by these gents. If you are considering the purchase of a classic car, I heartily recommend them.
