They so professional to be called scammers but I'd say they are the definition of a Scam company, they list cars and they misadvertise them by telling false information, and this issue has been happening to a lot of their customers including me, I wouldn't really recommend them at All, the government should look at their work strategies on how they scamming people. They ask for a high fees and their customer support line is the deadest customer help line I have ever dealt with, they are too good to be bad and too bad to be good.
People don't waste your time buying from them, theirs a lot more auctions has a better deals with lower fees and no complicated deals or scams.

Bought a car from them it was advertised as a Run and drive car, but when I switched on the engine the car seemed to have an engine problem and they never put it on their advertise and they cleared all the codes from the dash so the buyer can never notice, how dirty is that?

This was a good place to buy a car long long time ago. We started using this auction nearly 20 years ago.I have read all new negative reviews and now I can confirm that they all correct and are completely true. I have won one car twice and on second time Copat remove all info from my account, no email no information what is going on, NOTHING. I can recommend DON’T USE THIS AUCTION!!!

They stole my car! Whilst the claim was still going through (a non-fault incident.. the third party admitted fault - although initially they took a no fault stance) and despite my explicit instructions NOT to write it off (selling it never entered my head!), even leaving notes in the car with my details on them explicitly instructing whoever handles the vehicle that it's mine & I want it back!! Copart put it through the auctions and SOLD IT for £550! How do I know this? The buyer rang me (details on the note).. and offered to sell me my car for £2000!!!!!!! You couldn't make this up! Morale of the story? Don't let CoPart anywhere near your car -I hope that my Rover Metro 1.4Li is happy, and it knows that we never meant him any harm. We called him Peter, bought a personal number for him (K100WAC), and now have that,at least, on retention. He is now back on L754UFL. That number will go onto a car that is worthy of the memory of Peter.

I've been dealing with Copart (previously Universal Salvage) since the early 80's. Things have changed massively since then, some of it not for the better, but reading all the negative reviews convinces me that many of the complaints are from members with little experience of Salvage Companies. ALL of them increased the add ons significantly during the Pandemic and that is here to stay But every sale I go on there are still a number of quite unbelievable bargains to be had. But you need the requisite knowledge to be able to assess these and a very broad knowledge of the industry. It's not the place to cut your teeth.

CoPart stay away they are a bunch of crooks with a licence to steal money of the public any way they can. The cars description is always less than the damage they fail to disclose the truth once they get your money you are screwed to get any compensation. Bought a car paid over £35k they said it had minor front damage starts and drives ok received the car and oil was flooding out of the exhausts when started the CoPart driver refused to take it back and CoPart refused to accept responsibility lost over £11k never again. Keep well away there whole set up is set to con the public nothing else.

My car was picked up for assement waited 5 days i rang and they said another day they tell me my car has been written of 8k to repair vw panels say they can repair for 4500 .aviva ring me they say will give you 4600 I said no next day copart ring they say 3600 .I said what he'll is going on .they say they haven't a clue I wasn't offered a buy back I wasn't given an repair estimate absolutely no advice of what to do all they want cls to write the car of and make money at their sister auctions they are working toghether with their insurance partners to make money .instead of advising the customer co part guy was like a robot talking he said send us cars from ads same as yours year mileage colour and condition .I said can u find me a woman that looks like my wife same colour hair same personality and some vintage bed .he couldn't answer

Biggest Scam Company Ever. Do not sell or buy a car at copart. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. This is set up so you lose money. Please read the terms cause when you lose your money thats what they say to you. I mean how does one end up owing copart money for selling my car its the biggest scam ever. Fess £250 or more for selling your car so if the bid is £150 you owe copart money. Why don’t they just tell people this. Its a scam that’s been happening for years. You’ve been advised stay away
