We got tricked by our Electric Jag’s ‘range till empty’, and discovered the harsh truth that 0 really does mean zero.

Pete on behalf of the RAC came out quickly and was full of knowledge of electric cars, and just a genuinely nice bloke.

Got me to the nearest charge station, stayed with us to make sure everything was ok.

Can’t wait to breakdown in the Cotswolds again!

My car was outside there depot and I had returned to a flat battery after accidently leaving the ignition on. I was returning a hire van next door and it was late in the evening. After seeing they were still open i asked one of the lads if i could just borrow a set of jump leads so i could start my car from the hire van i had with me, he was polite and helpful and went off to ask the boss who then returned to say no unless it was a paid job and some BS about not being insured otherwise. So i had to drive back to Oxford in the hire van to get some jump leads to return when it could have taken me 1 min. Anyone in the street would help you by lending their jump leads however a recovery firm expect you to book an official job and pay a premium? Jokers, Inhumane and would not recommend these to anyone for help.

My Mum’s car broke down on the M40 near Banbury and we were recovered by Sam/Simon (sorry one of us misheard his name). He arrived quickly and made us feel safe from the moment he got there. We had great conversations with him as he drove us home, and thought he was fantastic. Can’t thank him enough!

Harvey was superb throughout the recovery of my Ifor Williams box trailer with rig onboard and offset back axle. He took his job very professionally ensuring a tricky load was securely brought back from a country road. Well done him.

Very efficient service. Our 1967 Fiat 500 broke down and Jamie arrived in a flat bed. Appreciated that he took advice from colleagues on where to safely attach the winch (it’s not your run of the mill motor!). Really polite and very friendly.
