Wow!!!

What an amazing Hotel!
Clean, tidy, well looked after, well presented and very, very welcoming.

Cannot recommend the steak pie enough. What a meal!!! Absolutely stunning dish, even the pastry top was well seasoned, well presented and super tasty! Steak pieces (loads!!!) were juicy and tender, proper melt in the mouth.

The staff were also extraordinary. Super friendly, very chilled and very easy to talk to, in particular Miyah and Mhairi. Credit to the hotel for amazing staff!

Will wholeheartedly return for both business and holiday!

We went to Barra for the flight in and out from the Beach as a 'big' birthday experience. We chose to stay for three days as we could use buses and feet to get an introductions to this marvelous place. The Craigart Hotel provided a wonderful base from which to explore. We had a very comfortable room in the 'Annexe' with views over the bay and the castle. (Always something going on.) Most importantly the team at the hotel were unfailingly kind, considerate and welcoming. We could not have asked for more.

Lovely view of the castle and bay from comfortable and cosy room #4. Great breakfast, good bar and lounge with a variable selection on the menu.|I had the lamb shank which was slow cooked and delicious. |Overall a great place to stay offering good value for money.

Bucket list flight across for a one night stay on Barra. The room was warm & very comfortable. The lady on reception was very friendly & knowledgeable. Evening meal & the service was really good, served by a new staff member call Sophie. Fantastic view across to the castle. Bar was lively with a good choices available. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent place to stay - just off ferry from Oban. We were very well looked after by Christopher who checked us in, took our dinner order and also served us breakfast! Turned out he cleaned all the bedrooms and made the beds! Very comfy bed, big bathroom and amazingly huge and delicious scallops for dinner. Would definitely recommend

This is exactly what Scottish hospitality should be! Lovely welcoming friendly helpful staff who managed to squeeze us in for dinner despite being super busy. Excellent tasty food. Rooms modern and comfy bed. Great location 3 min walk to the ferry. Great views over the bay. Recommend 100%

Situated at the top of a hill it's a lovely hotel with a view out over the bay featuring Kisimul Castle.|Staff friendly and welcoming, easy to check-in and check out. Rooms are clean and well appointed, serviced daily. Quiet, despite a lively lounge with live music on occasions.|Good value for money with well cooked Scottish breakfast.|Restaurant for dinner has a good varied menu, using local produce. |Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys comfort.

We came here for dinner on our first night on the islands and its set the bench mark. The food was beautiful and the service efficient. The most amazing views from the dining room set the whole meal. We really hope we can return in the future
