An extremely well run and well designed site. It’s clean and with every skip numbered. The extremely polite and helpful staff make it all easy. Directions to the correct container are so simple.
There is no reason to be tempted to fly tip rubbish elsewhere and the access is extremely clear.
A service to be proud of: it’s an example of best practice in Cheshire East.

Brilliant staff, always helpful, always busy! Lots of different bays for different stuff and there's facilities for things like bulbs and strip lights, paper goods( that's massive!) bottle banks, cooking oil and engine oils, batteries, TVs, fridges/ freezers, clothes and shoes too. I'm sure I've forgotten something, but if you have it to dispose just ask where. I like that it's open 7 days a week and only shut on Bank Holidays. Loads of space and vehicles all wait for a space with patience and courtesy. I'm sure if you're a disabled driver the staff will help you so don't not go.

Easy access to the multiple different waste skips and it’s easy to take a trailer ( out of peak hours) only access currently is via Middlewich Road to Pyms lane.

The place has improved immeasurably over the years. It gets crowded at weekends, which is understandable, but as I'm retired, I go midweek. Some staff are helpful, and some are not, but it's the same in any organisation. It's easy to get out once you have finished, the only problems occurring when someone can't park properly. It's well laid out, compared to several years ago, but clearer labelling would be appreciated

Pyms Lane recycling centre is always clean and tidy and the staff there are really helpful. I've made trips there probably 10 times in the last year and perhaps only once have I had to queue (and even that was right after Christmas). Keep up the good work everyone.

Due to recent roadworks and the fact pyms lane is shut at Bentley side it took much longer to get to the site so arrived later than planned which was my fault , on arrival outside at 350pm (closing time 4pm) and the site been empty of other cars , some site staff were already stood ready for home on the gate, they allowed the car if front of me to go in through the gate, when I explained I only had a bag of carpet off cuts and would be quick , the guy on the gate had terrible attitude was moaning that it was nearly 4pm and he does get paid overtime and it's not his problem, he refused me entry despite me arriving prior to the stated closure time.

The times need to changed on there website to say it shuts 15 mins early at 3:45

Closed at 3:45pm today. 15 minutes early when I and many others had a car full of stuff. The reason given was that they needed time for vehicles to get through the site, which I assume means so that the workers can go home on time?. The public plan visits based on the published opening hours, so if you’re going to stop letting vehicles in before the closing time then you need to make the public aware of that - such as ‘last entry at 3:45’. For me it meant I couldn’t then take my onward journey to pick up my children as my car is still full of rubbish. I’m sure I’m not then only one that plans their time!
