Very convenient to be 24 hours! Was there on a Sunday night at 9p and drove in, unloaded yard waste, and left in a few minutes. They do make you buy a hi-viz jacket in case anyone is wondering.

It was my first time coming to Cringle Dock and let’s just say I wasn’t having the best of days. That all changed when I arrived at Cringle Dock Solid Waste Transfer Station and heard Steve’s cheery voice over the telecom buzzer by the scales.
When we finally came face to face 2 minutes later at the office window he was just as pleasant in person. Steve sorted us out with 2 hi-viz vests; although he seems like the caring type, this was primarily for health and safety purposes. (BRING A VEST WOTH YOU).
After we dumped our waste we returned to the scales and to the office window to return our hi-viz vests and Steve greeted us once last time with his infectious mood. Steve charged us a super super super reasonable price for dumping our waste and sent us on our way with our moods completely converted and upbeat.

I’ve been to this recycling centre twice now as I had too Much garden waste to take in a Zipcar. The staff have always been so helpful and friendly it really makes a huge difference.

As it’s one of the main commercial recycling centres so for the first timers it’s a bit intimidating and can be overwhelming especially when it’s full of bin trucks but the helpful staff really make a difference.

I’m here today on the bank holiday and the lady who dealt with me was so friendly I hope the company realise what an asset they have in their helpful staff.
