Ranked consistently one of the worst GP practices in the whole of Scotland according to the Scottish Government‘s Health and Care Experience Survey!!!
This place really is the pits.
Plenty of other options roundabout - go outwith Cumnock is what a lot of us locals are forced to do.
There’s always issues here, always someone infront of you in the (massive) queue with an issue.
This seems to be historic.
Where’s your prescription? Eny, meeny, miny, moe - it’s never where you asked it to be. Always an excuse.
Don’t dare complain, go to the health board or media - they really don’t like that and will make an extra special effort to be incompetent.
The common denominator always seems to be this place and the management (which changes all the time) or lack of.
The place is a filthy midden - go elsewhere like many others do.

Has to be the worse doctors hands down. from the reception right down to the doctors. Should be shut down no care, id rather let my illnes eat away at me than be treated the way i have been from there.

The receptionist asks too many personal
questions and can give you a diagnosis regarding your illness over the phone..when they haven't even seen you or have been to medical school. When you eventually get an appointment after around a month's wait there is hardly anyone in the waiting area, so why do you have to wait a month to see a Doctor when you are really ill and you could possibly feel better due to the length of time you have to wait. Sorry for the rant but I'm only saying what others are thinking..ohh and the attitude of 2 of the GPs especially are very rude..they need a course on people skills..apart from all that it's a lovely, friendly, community practice 😁

Hate to even give 1 star but can't rate any lower. Never seen as many utterly and useless doctors in all my life under the one roof. Waited 3 weeks on an docs appointment only to be shouted at from a Doctor Polina (male doctor) I had 2 issues to see a doctor about but got shouted at saying they could only deal with one issue at a time. Imagine a doctor shouting instead of being professional and explaining they can only deal with one thing per appointment. So basically I had to put on another appointment when all they had to do was check my medical records and it would have saved another 3 week wait, It would have took 2 minutes. It's no wonder you need to wait no less than 3 weeks for an appointment. Nurses ain't much better either. They don't even do basic things like checking blood pressure ect unless you ask specifically they just won't do anything of their own backs. Better signing up with new Cumnock or Auckinleck boards atleast they are professional like every nurse or doctor should be.

Tried to get an appointment two days and 6 calls later a nurse phoned back and informed me to take painkillers, also still waiting 5 weeks later for a nurse to phone back with an appointment for a routine warfarin appointment.
This practice is abysmally run

Tried to call to cancel an appointment but nine calls later ranging between 20 to 25 minutes , all I got was line busy.
Tried the on line number and was put through to repeat prescription.

Absolute disgrace, denied me an appointment for a mental health related matter, told go to hospital or the police, should be utterly ashamed of themselves, formal complaint will be put in also, they say speak out and then deny you help, no wonder people take their own life's if this is what they are dealing with
