While I appreciate everyone needs to do their jobs, pulling across a street in front of my car and then getting out without even acknowledging I’m there is really poor. Would expect a little more courtesy. A polite “good morning, sorry, won’t be long” would go a long way.

My husband was quoted £244 for a skip (including VAT), to then be charged nearly £450. The call was on loud speaker with three of us present. When my husband phoned to query this he was basically told it was tough. Mistakes happen but this is outright theft. I think they were on the list of skip companies for the council so will be informing them too.

Update, we have since received a phone call demanding more money for white goods, the man insisting he told ‘you and your Mrs’ it would cost £40 each, which is categorically not true. As stated, the phone was on loud speaker and three of us were party to the conversation. Awful company

I have used D & E Roberts several times and they are a pleasure to deal with. Recently we needed a very big skip and the man in the office was super helpful, they even did a pre visit to check it would fit in the space required. They are always cheerful and courteous and provide excellent, prompt service. We will always use them and highly recommend them to others.

Used D & E Roberts a couple of times now and on both occasions they've been superb. The guys dropping off and picking up the skips are friendly and professional. Skip hire rates were good value for money and I could even dispose of small electrical items - something many other companies do not take. Wouldn't hesitate to use again and definitely recommend.
