Had a long term issue with damp in my flat and water not being drained out properly, had DC take a look while I was away for 7 days and they found loads of problems which were promptly fixed. They let me know the work needed as they went along and kept me in the loop.

Just had days of heavy rain and I'm happy to say our floor remains completely dry. Very pleased with the service and would gladly reach out to DC again!

DC quoted £250 +vat for "deep clean throughout." Toilets, shower, tub, sinks not touched. Stove lightly cleaned. Oven, grill, refrigerator, microwave not touched. Some areas still dusty behind and under items. Items moved and not replaced. Many items had to be searched for and were found in odd places, and some are still missing.

We complained and were told the team needs more training in "deep clean throughout," and they refunded us £20 as "a token of good faith."

I believe the team had not been told this was to be a "deep clean throughout," (although surely toilets would be included anyway!) and that the company placed the blame on their employees, and left their customer to pay for their mistake.

Would I recommend this company to anyone? I guess that depends upon how much one wants to pay £250 +vat to do their own cleaning and a thorough search of their property for missing items. If that's something you enjoy, then yes, definitely hire this company.

Edit to add: If anyone is wondering, what DC meant by "make up for this incident" was to offer us a chance to pay them again for the same job they didn't do right the first time. No, we will not be paying them for anything again - EVER.

We had DC come to deep clean our property following damage caused by plasterers. We needed a quick turn around so we could move home as the house was not habitable. The team from DC were fantastic. Great communication, high level of cleaning throughout all of our property and carpets. Friendly office based and cleaning staff and very helpful.

Due to my son falling down the stairs during a seizure I had some blood staining on my carpet, DC Group came quickly, cleaned all my stairs and landing carpet, they were so professional and helpful, the carpet came up like new. Last month I moved out of a first-floor flat and wanted the windows cleaned ready for the new owner. I booked DC well in advance to ensure the windows were cleaned the day before I moved (24th Aug).
On the 24th, I waited in and nobody turned up. When I phoned DC, I was told that the appointment had been rearranged for the following week. Nobody had phoned or messaged to tell me this.
The man I spoke to apologised and asked whether I wanted to keep the new date of the 31st. I cancelled, explaining that I was moving out on the 25th, and the whole point of the booking was that I’d promised the new owner that the windows would be clean when he arrived. Because this left me no time to book someone else, I apologised to the new owner, gave him the money the window cleaning would’ve cost and suggested a couple of more reliable companies.

Yesterday, the new owner told me that DC’s cleaner turned up on the 31st for the appointment which I cancelled!!? He suggested that he’d tried to come on the original date but nobody was home, which is just an outright lie.

In the past, DC have done a good job of cleaning the windows and I’m sure would have done again. But this experience and the farcical lack of communication (changing an appointment without telling me, then turning up to an appointment I’d cancelled and blaming me for the mistake) has been absolutely shambolic.

Cleaners are lovely very helpful but the service from the team on the phones! And management lack of personal skills! I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Over priced and horrible to deal with.
