Excellent salvage yard, sorted me out with a driver's seat for my '08 Micra, gave me pictures of what i was buying before purchase, packaged it really well, overnighted it to me, and everything's working perfect, kept it in touch well on whatsapp as well.

Honestly can't expect any better service than this, just be polite to people and you'll get treated well.

Purchased a part from this cowboy company, not only did I have to wait 5 days more then they said. They then sent the wrong part for my car. I clearly explained what the part was and I received a completely different one. Don’t waste your hard earned money with these people. Please search elsewhere avoid at all costs

Purchased a part from this cowboy company on September20th, not only did I have to wait 5 days more then they said. They then sent the wrong part for my car before I even bought paid for it I sent them the picture of my and he told he had it in. I clearly explained what the part was and I received a completely different one. Don’t waste your hard earned money with these people. Been trying to call them and they keep avoiding my call or keep telling me they’ll ring me back. I’ve just rang the number and the guy on the phone didn’t want to even speak to me once he knew it was me lol
Please search elsewhere avoid at all costs

they took my deposit online when i got to the scrap yard the part was damaged so i wanted my deposit back but they refused to give my deposit back as he was arguing that if you pay a deposit you cannot get it back apparently thats the law. very ignorant guys i managed to get 80% of my deposit back. also the company has been reported to the trading standard bodies who well deal with them for this inconvenience the caused me.AVOID THEM AT ALL COST

When installed the gearbox was found to be faulty. We asked for a refund for the part as we no longer needed it, we had fixed the issue.

We went back and forth for a week trying to figure out the best solution. We accepted a 50% refund. The refund was processed and back in my account within 2 working days. Spoke with Andy.

I am utterly disgusted by my experience with Derby Auto Salvage. They sent me a defective part, claiming it was under warranty, only for it to fail immediately upon installation. When I called to discuss the issue, not only was their customer service rude and unprofessional, but they had the audacity to LIE about being on the phone. It was clear from the conversation that they judged me based on my voice, assuming I was an Asian man working in a call center. This racist and disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable.

From reading other reviews, it’s clear that I’m not the only one who has received faulty parts from this business. It’s beyond belief that such a company continues to operate when they repeatedly sell defective products, then treat customers with such disdain. Their lack of professionalism, dishonesty, and outright prejudice is shocking. I would advise anyone considering Derby Auto Salvage to look elsewhere unless you want to deal with poor products, offensive behavior, and appalling customer service.
