I can only say, the Customer service at this place is certainly diabolical,, they were supposed to collect the skip on the Friday, either myself or Partner have to take a day off work, as its behind locked gates,, and they can't just come and pick it up.
My partner on this day took a day off, as it was his turn i did when it was delivered.
My partner is self employed, no work no pay.,, but needed to pop out at some point. so rang the Office,,, " Can you tell me if it will be AM or PM, so i can do something, "
"No cant tell you, all i can say is it will be collected today"(You mean to tell that your trucks are not Route planned every day. didn't want an exact time,, just a AM or PM)
Partner Rang them again at 4PM as waited in ALL day.
" Am i still getting this skip collected"
" No its booked in for Saturday"
I myself took the phone off him and started to state my complete annoyance, at not being informed of this. " the answer was, the driver is new and got behind, so now moved to Sat."
So now we have to sit in and wait another x amount of hours for it to be collected.
There was no correspondence from anyone to tell us.
The problem with your business is, that you put too many drops and collections onto the drivers, which are impossible to achieve in the daily tacho hours, leaving customers, VERY disappointed in the service that they don't get.
SHOCKING ,,, and i will be taking my business elsewhere, oh i will be telling others not to bother also..
The one star is for the Drivers,, great service from them.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to your company. I dealt with a lady called Tracey on the phone. She was incredibly polite and helpful. I received my skip on Wednesday morning at 7am and the delivery driver Chris was friendly and prompt. I called later that day to say the skip was full and ready to collect. The skip was collected today 14th Jan the day after I rang to say it was full. Overall the process was so simple and the delivery driver and office team were brilliant. Thank you for your services, I will definitely be using them again!

Absolute disgrace of a company with very little regard for its customers, and ran by very angry people.

The first time we used this company, the delivery driver had an extremely poor attitude towards my partner. He took one look at our loaded skip and pulled his face and said it won’t move (more like too much hard work), it moved no problem after he had had calmed down.

We ensured that next time, we filled it less to avoid more conflict and threatening behaviour from the driver.

When the driver arrived for the second skip, we left him for 10 minutes because we simply couldn’t be bothered to hear his next performance.

At the point that he jumped in his lorry to give up, we came out to ask what the problem was. He said that it was full and he won’t be taking it. It was filled to the level and unlike last time, we had done nothing to build up the sides.

However to save the hassle, we were agreeable, removed a load of rubble to appease him and it took us the grand total of 3 minutes. In this time he drove off, which was a real shame, his shouting was a real hit with the neighbours!!

After ringing the office to arrange a collection, we were accused of lying and and that the driver had left half an hour ago (he had only just left). We were then told it will be 3 days before the skip is collected.

The woman on the phone was very rude but gave me this heartwarming speech, “we have been in business for 35 years and we are very successful, your opinion doesn’t matter”

In conclusion; this company doesn’t care about customers and their feedback.

This company thinks that they are unstoppable, I gave them one piece of advice however; manners cost nothing and it’s good to be kind.

I contacted Mick to order a 17 tonne load of type 1 hardcore for a patio project.
He was very helpful, provided a great quote, kept me informed of the delivery day and time and the delivery person was also brilliant and did his best to place it where I wanted. I'd highly recommend them. a

We have used Derwent for a few skips over the last couple of years and it has always been fine.
Unfortunately when my last skip was collected 2 weeks ago they damaged the manhole. I have now been contacting them daily for 2 weeks and still not been fixed.
I've explained many times I have 2 young children, as do my neighbours. The open drain is on the edge of the pavement. Feels like
I'm being fobbed off every day. Very disappointing.

Ordered a skip to renovate my garden and could not wish for a better skip company driver skill fully placed it in the corner of my drive and left me with plenty of space for the cars. Wasn't the nicest looking skip but did the job.
