Oh dear! What a disaster! We have been here many times and the cafe seems to have a different problem each time. This is an excellent Garden Centre but the cafe is its own worst enemy. Busy, yes, only two members of staff visible until one came back from lunch.....! At a cafe, the staff go to lunch? We sat down & after 15 mins our order was taken, we MUST pay before we even see the food, then we were told 40 mins wait time. This is a garden centre cafe at 12:30 on a Wednesday, we had a hospital app at 2pm so we left. I would give it 1* but the staff that were there did at least try. The management is where the problems lay, I feel.

Overall We do like it here. But it really does depend on what member of staff you engage with to feel an appreciated customer. Not sure all of the staff in the coffee shop or restaurant love their jobs ? Have used both and weren't overly impressed with our meals for our first trip to the restaurant. We will give it a 2nd chance. It was as ever busy so maybe it was just an off day. Boston sausage and the waitrose concession are good. Needs some improvements

Really nice food, well presented in a clean and tidy relaxing environment.
Really tasty, freshly cooked food decent potion sizes too.
Price isn't too bad... no more than any other garden centres i have been to but enough to keep rough types away. Well worth paying.
Garden centre has a good selection of stuff, even gifts and a clothing section.

Highly recommend 👌

A great place to browse with loads of lovely foodie things including a fabulous butchers. They also carry Waitrose items.
There is a small coffee shop and a good size restaurant.
Selling all the usual garden centre stuff including plants, and garden furniture as well as a small clothing section, children's toys and gifts.

We were informed that there was a 30 minute wait for food as we entered, no problem had a coffee while waiting, the food though was terrible, tinned carrots were rock hard(can't believe that they don't serve fresh carrots after all this is Lincolnshire) the cabbage was cooked to death, as was the mash potatoes only saving grace was the sausages.
To top it all the sponge cake was like sawdust!!!
It's definitely gone down hill won't be going back.

Where do I start!! We visited the cafe and was asked if we was there for breakfast? We said yes and sat down, the take tour order at the table. After 15 minutes we asked if someone could take our order? A young man came & took it & payment, 5 minutes later he was back saying he did it wrong & we hadn't paid?! So I pay again and then wait 40 minutes! Other people are now being refunded as they have waited so long! A couple who came in after us are served the same order we had ordered!! So after an hour ours arrived and we asked why are others getting served before us 'it's just the way it is' & a shrug of the shoulders from the youth! We ask for the manager and tell her what has happened, she apologises and offers a full refund, which we accepted.
As for what we got for £8-50 price! 1 x bacon 1x sausage 1 x egg 1/2 x tomato & beans. 1 small toast (we asked for another to replace the black pudding we didn't want but that never arrived?)!
If I am honest even with it being free as we had a refund it was stillborn value for money!!
At least 6 other people had refunds and numerous people walked out as they had waited & no one came to take an order!!
We will normally be going back.

We had gone to get food only ordered a wrap and some some chips with chocolate cake for after, had got the cake quite quick but then was sat waiting for over an hour for the rest of the order, we spoke to the workers 3 three times before getting told their servers are down. However other tables who had ordered more than us after we had ordered got their food first, when we got the food it wasn’t very nice.
