Doctors say they cannot refer a teenager for an autism assessment and that it needs to come from her school which is absolutely not true. Especially when she masks at school and has good grades. Neurodivergence isn't taken seriously with advice being to feel your pulse when stressed and it being down to being a typical teenager. She won't leave the house and has agoraphobia - finally managed to get her into a doctor for nothing to be done. Severe anxiety - but doctor can't medicate. Why tell a depressed and anxious child that even as an adult you just become more stressed and "it never gets any better". Schools have taken her off her SEN support and she's been on CAHM waiting list for nearly 3 years. Now what? Completely fobbed off. Disgusting.

Great doctors but absolutely horrendous reception staff. Rude and arrogant, unhelpful refused to register my carer/partner to the practice. Unwilling to ever help on the phone despite knowing I have a disability. Fed up of being spoken down to by the same set of receptionists!

Have recently moved from another practice. My experience has been excellent. Really easy to access the doctors via tech and also to be seen if you need to be. Why aren't all GP pra ctices like this?
