If I could give this surgery a - star rating I would. The least proactive surgery EVER. Not only do they not act in the patients interest by failing to diagnose cancer, they also do not deal with the letters that come across their desk. When a patient tries to be proactive in their own care, the staff think they have a right to rebuke your effort.

The incompetence starts at the front desk with Vicky McLoughlin whose attitude when asked for a simple request her answer is "You have every right to change surgeries" is an absolute disgrace. Thanks Vicky - you lack the basic standard required to work frontline at the NHS. I will also now start the process or reporting the surgeries failures to the CQC and GMC.

Awful practice. The clueless, unhelpful and sceptical sounding young receptionist I've just spoken to is the last straw in a long line of problems. Hope that call was recorded. If I become seriously ill it's on her. I'm registering with a new practice as soon as I can.

Ps. Victoria Ann's review - bet that's the doctor I last spoke to on the phone some time ago. Horrendous. You just don't need it when you're ill or have concerns.

Been with this surgery all my life. I never bother them with anything, but had a recent telephone appointment with one of the GP's (due to there being no face to face appointments for well over a month) with a physical issue that's really been bothering me for a while. Honestly, the GP made me feel like I was wasting their time, like it was some trivial issue that I should just get on with. At one point, I felt like I was being questioned by a barrister rather than a GP, trying to trip me up regarding what I was saying. I've had no formal diagnosis regarding this issue, just assumption, and absolutely no care or regard for my concern about it.
I actually felt too intimidated by their manner to suggest i was sent for any testing, as I could tell this would have been shut down immediately.

Unwilling to refer to specialist or investigate further. Because I struggle with anxiety and depression they put EVERYHING down to that, despite telling them I've been waking up gasping for breath with palpitations most nights (possible sleep apnea) Very dismissive and made my issues seem trivial. Will be making a formal complaint and switching gps

What a joke of a surgery! I wish I had taken my time to read all these reviews before registering myself and my child. No matter the time you call, you’ll be on hold for over 30 minutes!! I have been trying to call them rather than going to the surgery due to my working schedule and it has been IMPOSSIBLE to reach them! Even if you call after 10 am, they’ll never pick up the phone!! What an actual nightmare!! 111 picks up faster than they do!!

Receptionist very unhelpful and uncooperative and very inappropriate. As I walked away from reception both receptionists turned to each other and started talking about me as I walked away. So embarrassing and these unprofessional busy bodies are the face of the clinic. An absolute embarrassment to the NHS

disgusting attitude towards patients, unfriendly, unwillingness to help and even listen, do not pay attention to symptoms and complaints (tremor of the eyelids, painful spasms of the muscles on the face and in the throat that take your breath away). the last case just threw me off balance .. the doctor on the phone just hung up. outrageous rudeness! our whole family got sick, positive tests, acute symptoms of omicron .. I think it is very dangerous when the sense of smell is lost when a person has a serious loss of vision and a bunch of other health problems.. It's very sad at this difficult time.
