Brilliant recycling centre and an even better team! Such a great recycling centre, they seem to take the majority of waste and materials. I've used the facility frequently and the team are always brilliant - they are very helpful in accessing what waste goes where and are really committed to getting as much recycled / reclaimed as possible. They are more than happy to help with any questions (and they seem to get loads) and always seem to be upbeat and positive. They also keep the site really clean and I've often seen them helping to get vehicles into the parking bays (its not always easy to park if you're in a bigger vehicle).

You need to book in for DIY waste (as you get an initial load free), but this is dead easy to do on the website and if you don't then there are some small charges for recycling.

They don't take plasterboard.

Unfriendly staff who snatch anything of value out of your hands before you even get near a waste bin, it’s not yours to sell ! yet tell you off in the next breath for something that remotely resembles DIY waste and won’t accept it unless you go online and register it. It’s a single bit of wood. Options go online and register it and take the piece of wood back, burn it at home or throw it in the hedge on your way home. Come on Drayton tip get real and try a little bit of customer focus. And perhaps even try being nice !

A bit like Monty Pythons cheese shop, It's sometimes quite difficult to dispose of waste here and a new, bizarre, and probably fabricated reason is given each time.
Would be funny if it wasnt extremely annoying. Yes I did read the rules and make a booking.

Easy to find, park, and drop off your items. Staff is helpful, I needed assistance with my heavy items. There was no queue, but I might just went there at the right time.

It's a right dump - but then that's what you are looking for! Staff arr helpful and not overly interrogative unlike in Oxford. Watch out there are some charges for home refuse - disposing of a shed can be costly.

Staff grabbing items off you that look valuable and putting them in the boot of their cars. Bloody thieves!

Very busy place during weekends but definitely manageable. There is a free allowance now in place for DIY waste, you need to complete an online form beforehand and present it to the staff

I would call this facility life and surrounding savings. I would also request to keep used or working items aside so that people who need it can use it and further reduce junks and wastes
